@nartnoside that's exactly why I like deadmau5. You go to a Deadmau5 show to hear Deadmau5 music, not somebody else's. If you want to hear more diverse sets you have to go to his unhooked shows which are usually longer and have more unknown tunes and remixes.. He keeps he same set for all his big shows. And as far as feeding off the crowd....I have no idea what shows you went to but I have been to many shows in the past few years and no crowds are louder and crazier than at a Deadmau5 show

@spoerl92 no thats not really the reason, its because deadmau5 makes NOTHING but songs with 128 bpm, meaning he doesn't know how to DJ. all he does is cross fade without beat matching or anything, he is by far the biggest joke of a DJ out there. He even says it himself, he is not a DJ, just a producer. My friend (who has seen him live 7 times) said it best - "seeing deadmau5 live is like seeing iTunes live...and its on shuffle... "

His visuals were impressive but nothing more than a bootleg "Daft Punks - Alive 2007" with the huge pyramid. His music is great which is what he does best : produce music. But the set itself (meaning the music playlist) was incredibly bad compared to his usual sets where he mixes things up and plays other peoples songs (sometimes at least). Deadmau5 was OK that night, but not worthy of headlining.
