@perrybotkin so...you're an unknown legend. wish I could fix that. arrangers don't get enuff credit from the public. that's why Ray Conniff is my hero - took me nearly a year to figure out his fortepiano effect combined with his swing/jazz arranging created an unbeatable double-swing effect. I think your work on the pop stuff and especially with Hollyridge Strings was amazing ! ! ! In music circles you ARE a legend - you were certainly the go-to guy back in the day when somebody needed a hit ! !
@perrybotkin used up my 500 below. twitter would NOT work for ME !!! I was serious about that walk with you - any chance to make it happen? Appreciate the message greatly, thx, Chuck
Hey brilliant composer/arranger crazyman! When can I go for a walk with you? I'm a big fan of all the orchestral pop music you've left in your wake! chuck
Well......I guess I can check up on you once in a while here...LOL...Wanted to let you know that you're a grandfather...his name is Daniel Tyler and he's AWESOME! Keep walking Dad....you look good!
dude, you ROCK. i was your fan when the young and the restless came out. i had to play it too. i was a kid then. before piano was considered by my peers to be a sissy instrument. so i picked up guitar, bass, other strings.. now i am 44. i am finding myself drawn back to piano and i am also finding myself with reason to get off my ass now and walk, hike, ride bike. and i watch this video and find i appreciate you even more now than as as kid. dude you ROCK. keep rockin.. err.. i mean walkin!
Thank you so much for this wonderful video. My father, Sid Wingerhoff, passed away last Monday, June 16. He died in his own home after climbing the stairs to the second floor--something he did every evening. He died on his own terms--still able to hear, see, and still sharp. He died still able to walk in the park, something he loved for over 30 years. Lois Peterson
Save me a spot on your 100 year-old dance card. I had no idea you were so athletic. Thank you for taking such great care of yourself. I'm looking forward to many more great years. Paula

Very funny and sweet! The only problem is that you don't look like an old man!
