  • I never used Corel Draw, but wow, I like the gradient tool , I think it's easier to control than the one in Illustrator. Thanks, I learnt a lot here. Since I don't use Corel Draw, I want to know, what's the difference with Illustrator? Why choose Corel Draw?

  • great

  • For vectorial images Corel is the best -

    Wikingo

  • thanks thanks thanks!

  • I can copy it using ctrl + v, and its much faster...

  • ola tudo bem?

venho tambem apresentar meu site, aqui você vai encontrar...

  • Great! I loved that!

  • This is very well explained im learning so much from you! Thank YOU!

  • Great job! ;)

  • good

  • Fantastic! Extremely useful and clearly demonstrated. Keep up the fantastic work.

  • cool

  • Click shift click shift click shift:D

  • Muito Bom!!!

    Very Good!!!

  • Wow what a mess to draw a simple box!! you can draw it in Adobe Illustrator in just 3 or 4 minutes, but I have to give credit to Alexisalvez for the video any way...

  • mesmo sendo em ingles é muito bom

    vlw

    -

  • this is just what iwas looking for, the voiceover really helps! all the rest are just someone else making something but sped up, no instructions!

  • thanks man

  • VNice. Simple and direct.

  • pinoy . . ?

  • wtf, i wish that hand drwers werent dying out like they are, we arenow a rare breed, but i encorouge anyone, becauseit takes more skill with a pencil and paper than any program like corel.

  • Sure encourage all you want. But its not more skill. Its just a different skill. Art is Art no matter what the medium.

  • i know what u mean, things like these arent bad, but when you can easily make up for a skill in say, pencil drawing or painting in corel, i think it is not as credible as a handdrwn piece.

have you ever seen the painting efects on corel and stuff? it takes hours of work, but photoshop or corelcan do it in seconds

Art is art, i agree with u, but skill is skill as well.

  • I'm an amateur graphic designer who knows corel draw pretty well. But my neice is just starting out and she doesn't know bit-one about computer art. So I'm scanning her hand drawn and water colored charactors, cutting them out and assembling them in Corel for a short children's book. Even though I could recreate the charactors from scratch, I really want to keep the texture of her hand painted artwork. Its in the "imperfections" that this artwork gets its charm.

  • i prefer illustrator:)

  • copy and paste is easier

  • Filipino accent...

    good one man... :)

  • lol photoshop is bitmap and corelDraw is vector, you should have said illustrator CS4 for a more valid argument

  • @ukTRBuk true that!

  • @corpus26 yeah wow! you're really smart there. apples and oranges, fool! apples and oranges.

  • wow you are the best. please make a tutorial about the colours combination

  • Awesome

  • buen video ,5 estrellas

  • ¿Qué decir?

    Simplemente interesante

    !!Felicitaciones!!

    What say?

    Just interesting

    ! Congratulations!

  • ¬¬

  • orrrible

  • te apoyo amiga

  • very very brilliant, please keep going

  • i mean vector based program

  • isn't coreldraw a vector based object and has no pixelation when you zoom in, is it imported as a jpg

  • Yes it's vector based, I'm not sure if it can be imported to jpg file but jpg file definately has pixelation. This kind of program is basically recommanded to be saved as pdf which is a file for printing as it is still sharp when zoomed in.

  • good job, but you can make the shadow more easy and same with another tool.

  • man, you are AWESOME, thank you so much for learning me so many things, i use corel draw every day for a couple of years now, but just for 2d "like" drawings - usually for the plotting machine, never imagined you can do so much things just with corel, thanks for sharing! your corel-videos are all awesome 5/5

  • Hi when you duplicate on top of the existing object you press the '+' sign right ?,because I tried this and it does not work, please let me know how you can duplicate using the plus.thanks,by the way a very good tutorial.

  • it's the keypad + on the right, not the one near the backspace

  • One of the best videos on CorelDraw. You explained a lot here and I'm now going to try something.

  • Good vid! You can actually copy the "gradation properties" from one object and apply them to the other by dragging the first object to the other with the right button of your mouse.

  • im doing computer graphics at school and im probaly the worst in m class at the moment at it=(

Thanks alot for the video it will help me alot. 5/5

  • great tutotial.I know a lot of coreldraw,but u showd me some new tricks=)

  • nice work!

there was a proverb said: "don't stop tracing"

  • Great tutorial thanks!

  • you have done a great job... trace, transparency and drop shadow!

  • what program you use to record the screen?

  • i think it's hypercam

  • I am a 65 year old retired signmaker, used Coreldraw for years (since version3.1), If only you had been around then, you would have saved me so much time and money. Wow the things I never new about Coreldraw, thank you so very much.

  • Excellent tutorial

  • enviarme un video

  • Thanks for the tutorial

  • Excellent turorial. Thanks a lot!

  • Fantastic Tutorial Very Good!!!

    ;D

  • Well done, Thank you for sharing the technique.

  • Excellent video, its very easy to see how he draw the box, jejeje, all its easy when you know and practice it. Thanks for the video.

  • You can use that small button on the tool bar while closing an open curve and having the shape tool chosen(you can see it becomes inactive when you closed the curve manually). Also filling a curve may not be very helpful to determine if it's closed (you may have that option "Fill open curves" checked in your prefs). To copy a fill/outline color you might right-clik the sample object and drag it over the object you want to change. Well done anyway.

  • ggg
