@SgtCrom In fact, Dyer teaches in his book that instead of feeling guilt when you've behaved in a way you find unpleasant you'd better examine the situation in a sensible way in order to prevent it from happening in the future. The whole idea is that guilt is just an emotion. Think about it for a second: wouldn't it be better to correct and motivate yourself not to repeat a certain behaviour in the future than blame yourself for something which have already happened and you have no control of?
@SgtCrom All much better suited for a real chat over a cup of tea but, altho I prefer "intelligent regret" to "guilt," I appreciate your perspective and your thoughtful, articulate response! (Your original post made me nervous you were some angry, anonymous YouTube poster. :)
@SgtCrom Hah. And it sounds like some of their charming personalities rubbed off on you. ;) How do you really feel there, Sgt? There's a huge difference between taking responsibility for one's actions and feeling an undue sense of guilt and one can do that without falling into the realm of a sociopath. I think you'd agree after taking a couple deep breaths. :)
wow, I could barely hear you. I maxed my speakers and my volume and still had to turn everything off so I could hear you. I Love the things you talk about so I was upset when I couldn't hear.
@PhilosophersNotes No more hearing issues, I got a new computer for myself for christmas and I can hear your video's just fine. Thanks for the Reply on it though! Carry on (smiles)
