  • Well I can't get crazy for this line-up Renaissance, cause I prefer the Symphonic Renaissance with Annie Haslam; even though the accompaniement at 3min 15 at the piano with simple arpeggiated triplets is pretty...anyway if you like this folk/proto-prog folk music genre, I suggest the debut album by Solstice, whose female vocalist seems to be the clone of Jon Anderson by Yes

  • ahhh I LOVE this track, the piano, Jim's voice, the harmonies, and the timely message... just a great song!

  • Man, this is great! Love both versions! Great video too!

  • this is great .. the singing / aucostis is fabulous

  • @rafferty246 Glad you liked it. It hasnt gotten many viewings but those who have taken a look seem to like it.

  • Wow, great original, never heard this before. I had always loved the Yardbirds' version. Yeah (vanfan) great lyrics.

  • Thanks, glad you enjoyed it. By the way, McCarty will have a new solo album coming out sometime this year.

  • Pure greatness...Jim McCarty

  • Russ, such a deep philosophical song. Love the lyrics. Also the version on Yardbirds "Birdland". Thanks, vanfan
