The Crüe-Dudes really aren´t the best on their instruments, there are way better musicians out there in bands today, but they´re their on little world on stage and got their own way of live that impressed and influenced many follow-ups. Thumbs up, crüe, big balls + unique attidude = mötley crüe..

Imo, Crue may not have been the most talented individually, but when they got together it was magic. The four of them rocked hard and set the tone for what a real rock band should be like. For example, Home Sweet Home me was more or less the original power ballad. How many people were inspired by and/or ripped off Crue? I think we all know the answer.

Motley Crue set the standard with that genre of rock. The elements of danger, excess, unpredictability, and destruction was started by these guys. Everyone else ripped them off i.e. Guns N Roses, and set the bar on what a REAL ROCK BAND is all about!

I use to listen to techno, trance, rap, and 80's bands like Ratt, Poisen, Dokken, and GNR. But for some reason I didn't know about the Crue other then a bout 5 songs. Now after listening to their music over the summer I havn't touched any of my other CD's. I just ordered all their 80's alumbs the other day. I currenlty listening to their live CD. The Crue is definetly the best 80's band, and still are the best band right now, better then these new guys.
