  • looks like a military target now....who else would want to add demo. explosives to that!

  • I saw that building almost every day when I went to school there. On the top, and you can see a little bit of it, it said "Trust Jesus."

  • It happened in Sioux falls, SD it was hilarious!

  • tough old building

  • Why does anyone still bothers using explosives? A few rooms on fire and a couple of pieces of another building dropped on the roof is all it takes for a building to fall symmetrically into its own footprint. Since 9/11 and the collapse of Building 7 we have proof of this. Saying otherwise makes you a conspiracy nut, ignorance is strength!

  • Just takes a bit of a push

  • 0:12 tall dude was on the building

  • u gotta love duds!!

  • oh Noooooooo!!!! Disaster! Must have cost them a fortune!!!!

  • DAMN!! I didn't want to have to do this... cchh"send over the Apaches" over.

  • They shoulda hired the pro's that brought down building 7

  • I remember that building. I think it was the building where someone wrote "Jesus" on it or something. Otherwise, this is one of the earlies youtube videos. And I happen to live in the city where this happened. Small world, huh?

  • HA I WAS THERE WHEN IT HAPPEND, THEY BLEW THE REST UP AFTER, THEY ALL LAUGHED

  • to bad the two tower did not do this

  • What were they thinking? That building was Chuck Norris approved. They were suppose to use nukes.

  • zip building= chuck norris house

  • perhaps they should have flown a plane into it!

*sarcasm* - we should all know by now the plane didn't bring down the tower.

  • @1eye4revolution

    yep

    it was a Walter fart

    ask Ahmed he knows

  • do it like wtc strike.. it cant fail ;)

  • That is some solid building design right there.

  • hahahahahaha and those guys put a banner there hahahahahaha

  • 2nd Pise tower i said

  • hahahahahahaahahaahahahaha !!!!

  • Building: "F you. I'm not getting torn down!!!"

  • Whoooooh!

  • They don;t make em like they used to....

  • how did they get it down after that? i mean it would be dangerous to get near it to place more explosives..

  • @loominal they used a wrecking ball :)

  • @loominal They used a wrecking ball to take it apart...

  • Osama bin Laden wins.

  • Russia?

  • @scholion south dakota

  • I think they should have left it after this. Fuckin sweet leaving building.

  • put TNT on the roof stupid fuck's

  • Demolition crew 0

    Building 1

  • Lmfao

  • #FAIL .

  • i live in sioux falls sd and watched it from my backyard and i laughed my ass off when i seen that

  • With all the needless destruction in this country I love it when a building fights back.

  • @sjtom57 well it wasn't needless destruction. it was an unused building in the middle of the city.

  • @sjtom57 you emo or something?

  • yay! now people know that we do have buildings in south dakota! and that we dont live in teepees!

  • @DonatedBus Like, I know, eh? See I live in Canada, right, and Yankees all think all we have is igloos. But I don't know what those hosers are talkin' aboot 'cause we got the post office downtown.

  • Someone give me the number of the mechanic that built it. The guy is a genius.

  • @0235681956 last time i checked mechanics didn't built buildings. Civil engineers do.

  • @FOURSTARZ991 well, and last time I checked retard trolls on youtube were still spamming crap all over the place. Now fuck off

  • 0:12 love how that piece just falls out

  • funny, mis calculated how hard it is.

  • omg i was there when it happened it was so cool but i was on the other side watching

it was so cool when all the birds flew out

  • omg i was there when it happened it was so cool but i was on the other side watching

  • The funniest part is you can't even see the second plane

  • That is hilarious, love the guys laugh!

  • @Fjellulv ROFLMAO!!!

  • Did the use twinkies instead of dynamite. :?

  • ill hit it with my truck need a new one anyway

  • This calls for a stupid idiot to touch it!

  • i was there watched this demo as i live in Sioux falls. they used over 100LBS. of explosives but didn't take into fact the basement where the building fell into.

  • When they did the Zip feed mill the old timers told them they put rebar in the cement but the city didnt listen so there is the result, they used an insuficent amount of explosives for the strenght of the building

  • Buildings like "Giggidy alright lets go again"

  • I had a similar fail-demolition in my hometown. They tried to demolish a silo of our local lime works, but they failed, leaving there like seen in this video.

  • Maybe we should have the people who built this building build the next world trade center...

  • I remember this, I used to live downtown on the othyer side at River Tower Apartments.

  • Son, that's I say, that's one STRONG building!

  • if this would be MTV's NEXT ... I would say ... NEEEEEEXTTT

  • oops! How does donald trump say it? "You're fired"

  • actually, it is a real demolition, i was there inside the blast zone (not where the explosives are, but my dad is a cop and i was able to be within the range that regular citezens could not

  • not enough explosives or just a cheap explosives

  • Transformers, crouching buildings in disguise!

  • @Wolfnx more than meets the eye

  • @2213blaise lol

  • I watched it happen. It was pretty funny because it made one final fight to go. It was called the Leaning Tower of Zip Feed. Now there is some Plaza overlooking the river.

  • ucth how many times do i need to tell u to stop trying to blow up my weird house!!!

  • How was the building finally brought down? I would think that it was extremely unstable and dangerous left as it was.

  • what to learn from this video ->

the woman will scream even, if she's doing the countdown

  • i live in sioux falls and it wasn't a sioux falls demolition company that did the job... my dad wasn't surprised that it didn't fall... he said if you didn't build the building how do you expect to demolish it? they brought in a crane and it took the operator 3 weeks to finish the job... it was pathetic but atleast we made national news for once and Youtube

  • @drummingdave817 yeah no kidding, it was fucking cold that day

  • @drummingdave817 It is called an Iwegan Demolition.

  • @Tyster360 i don't remember where the company was from but it wouldn't surprise me if they were from iowa... their all just idiots out wandering around

  • It's Pisa not Pizza!

  • Bunch of Morons living in south dakota no doubt

  • @KAK1282 Your an idiot. People in South Dakota arn't morons. Plus the demolition company that did this one, was from Iowa. The demolition company were the morons.

  • fail1!!!

  • A strong building

  • win

  • its dont nead morew explosives just a crane whit a big block that can tipp it

  • looks a little fake...

  • Obviously whoever built that building is one hell of a construction crew.

  • i know the guy who pushed the button to blow it up he gose to my granmas church

  • i was there when that happened. ok u got me i didnt but i live in sd and it was all over the news.

  • @mustardman72 i was there

  • @mustardman72 ya no u wernt

  • yeah they dont make the buildings like they used to out of solid concrete. today it's as cheap as possible, and make sure it breaks every couple of years or the building has problems so contractors have jobs.......welcome to the modern capitalist world...

  • I just watched a video of a demolition fail in China. The advantage to capitalism is that shitty building companies stop getting business. In China, why try?

  • true,true...

  • LOL

    Wow, that sucks :)

  • Classic Fail

  • thats worth giggling

  • solid building

  • If planned demo on a 20 story brick pile fails, how could planned demo on a 100+ story metal and glass skyscraper work, hmmmmmmm?

  • They didn't melt, idiot. You can clearly see the debris in the images of Ground Zero after the attacks. Jet fuel weakened the support. That lovely thing called Gravity does the rest. Few people realize skyscrapers aren't actually made to withstand full sized jet airliner impacts.

  • How would they demo the 64 floor "Steel Building" in Pittsburgh?

  • @QuiksandProductions your an idiot

  • boo that sucked

  • And thus the Leaning Tower of Sioux Falls was made...before being demolished by authorities a week later.

  • bongojim420,your statment is the most idiot I have ever read. How dare you be so insensitive to those who died in the twin tower and those who still die today. Wow...what a knob.....

  • That is a very strong building, and this is one of the oldest videos on youtube

  • I was on 20/F, now i am on the 18th.

  • The crowd says it all. LOL

  • New Pizza Tower. :)

  • they should have flown a plane into it.

  • @MrJeffersonsBlanket Nah, more economical to use explosives,

  • Lol!

I could see that from my house!!!

  • more c-4

  • that building was made to be sturdy. It was too tough for the explosion. The zip feed building is like 60 years old

  • ROFL!!

  • My all time favorite Demo Gone Wrong! Not just because of the sturdy building. But, because you can hear the audience making comments from excitement to astonishment. And, now with high explosives wired throughout the remaining structure. Someone has to go in there and set things straight.

  • It was under control, and when people are thinking properly (like here, sort of), they're at least hundreds of feet away. I'm pretty sure it's impossible for that to happen unless the building fell over like the one in Turkey (as well no one was hit).

  • ITS A NEW LEANING TOWER OF PIZZA!!!!

  • its pisa dumb shit not pizza

  • that wasent a mistake hun, I ment pizza, who dosent love it. Btw, FUCK YOU! (:

  • tower of pizza?

  • Yeah. Im weird, many pplz know that, and now you do.

  • Lol tower of pizza!

  • @greendayjonasbro its pisa

  • Comment removed

  • @greendayjonasbro

    Pizza?

  • i was standing right near where this was filmed. i was also maybe the first live news footage of a punk rocker in south dakota that day, which is even more exciting to that lame state

  • Round 2 coming soon. . .

  • Epic fail!

  • LMAO....how did that not fall over....wow

  • xax just listen laugh..

  • did he die?

  • FAIL!!!

  • They need to club that building in the knees.

    It'd go down then.

  • Lol Fantastic XD

  • That old building sure 'stuck the landing' though, didn't it!

  • Lmao xD

  • hahaha

  • Should have bring Army Tank or F-11 to shoot then bring this build down!

  • I find this offensive

  • Get over it.

  • You replied to clear sarcasm a month later with "Get Over it." Simply astonishing.

  • Does that offend you too?

  • Someone explane me why american people start to yell unseemly whatever unusual thing happens. This time, luckily, nobody scream "Hoolaaaay Sheeet"

  • The Demolition team is going, "Man, I am NOT going back in there."

  • wouldnt wanna be the guy that plants the next lot of explosives!

  • Lol

  • this world aint big enough for 2 leaning towers of piza

  • Write Pisa and spell "Pee-saah"

  • Who else would have been taping the demolition other than the demolishers themselves? The people you hear laughing are them. Demolitions are taped often for studies and security purposes.

Some buildings are hard to demolish, it happens. It also has a lot to do with the decay of the building. If the building has decayed more on one side it goes down on it faster. I have seen buildings with dynamite not even shake with the implosion.

  • the only problem with what you said, the demolition company and the workers were beyond pissed, thats not them, trust me

  • Are you dumb?

  • The morons are the demolition team, who didn't calculate shit well.

  • lol now its "the leaning tower of demolition"!

  • Ha, funny thing, in my town there was a similar screw up with a similar building... Seems that old industrial-type buildings are a tough nut to crack!

  • Ha! I seen a near exact situation in Lewis, DE when I was a kid. They were taking down a fish processing factory that looked shocking similar to this building, with the same result, leaning just the same. Someone had put a sign on the fence that read, "building-2, TNT-0", so they must have been having trouble for some time.

Weird how similar this video was to that.

  • LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • you need to fly a plane into that thing!

  • Should of used bush's buddies who took down the twin towers...

  • indeed

  • yeah, obviously that makes tons of sense... and isnt bullshit at all!
