  • JuSt think that had no tip on it probly would passes through if it did

  • did he say custom blunt?

  • so the answer is no you don't just stick a piece of foam on the end, you stick a socket-ed plastic disc with a piece of foam glued to it.... i still think that could be home made

  • Customized blunt lol

  • @rhysjordan123456789 it kinda looks like a turkey or some other large bird. but iy doesn't move quite right..

  • Why wood we do that anyway weirdo

  • @dwhitby1971 You'd be surprised. We actually MADE this video because we were getting e-mails from people who saw our videos & created their own arrows. We were tired of seeing pictures of cuts and bruises, so we made this video to tell them to STOP DOING THAT before they killed themselves!

  • 0:35 wtf is that thing in the back ground

  • @rhysjordan123456789 Haha! Nobody can figure it out. We're not even sure. We didn't see it while we were shooting.

  • fruit ninja

  • i came here from some shoes review.. lol

  • @zorritoAL18 Haha! Wow...only on Youtube. :) Thanks for watching.

  • @archerytag np bro .,.. keep it up.. keep uploading ^^

  • should have shot the groundhog runnin in the background

  • @mirracoNo7 Haha! Maybe with the Archery Tag arrow, but that would only make him mad, and we didn't want poor Paul to look silly, running around the property being chased by a rabid groundhog. ...On second thought, that would have made a great video!

  • not that cool

  • if its so good then why didn't it hit the dog in the background

  • 0:00

  • how did I get here?

  • rofl of course it's gonna do that if you just stick foam on the end and loose it from a bow, that's why re-enactors screw a plastic disk on and tape foam to that tightly

  • rofl of course it's gonna do that if you just stick foam on the end and loose it from a compound, that's why re-enactors screw a plastic disk on and tape foam to that tightly

  • What went wrong? Was there butter on the crack?

  • yeah just buy from them, humanity have never made bows and arrows etc......

  • @aoxilus Actually, this video was made because we were getting messages from people who had seen our videos & attempted to construct their own arrows, resulting in injury. We wanted to demonstrate that manufacturing your own arrow & shooting it at a friend is NOT a good idea. Thanks for watching.

  • what is that thing running in the background at like 0:35

  • @deviss42 Haha! None of us can tell. So far, the best guess is a rabbit. We didn't even notice it when we were shooting the video.

  • @archerytag haha okay...thats pretty funny

  • @deviss42 :) Have a GREAT weekend!

  • @deviss42 a turkey it looks

  • @Musicislyfe28 Haha! Maybe a really small turkey?? Love it!

  • @deviss42 Bunny

  • @delaghettoballz I think you're right.

  • @deviss42 i think itsa duck

  • @dennislork Haha! Could be.

  • i used to be an archer then i took an arrow to the knee. i have a bear archery brand bow and havent shot a arrow yet cuz its raining so we cant set up my targets.

  • @dragontrainer100 Bummer! I hope you get to set it up soon!

  • i used to be an archer then i took an arrow to the knee.

i have a bear archery brand bow and havent shot a arrow yet cuz its raining so we cant set up my targets.

  • @dragontrainer100 It it a recurve or compound?

  • that could happen. unless you line the inside of the foam with a metal washer to prevent it from moving through it.

  • can u use a compond bow

  • @EliteFreak71 No, unfortunately compounds and crossbows can't be used because of their kinetic energy. The weight of the blunt on the end of the arrow could cause the arrow to shatter when being fired out of compounds and/or crossbows...and that's not a good thing. Just recurves and longbows at this point. Thanks for the great question, and thanks for watching! Have a great Friday.

  • @archerytag k thanks just wanted to know

  • how is a foam arrow more dangerous than a real one in any way?

  • @3458andrew It's not. It is SIGNIFICANTLY less dangerous. But a badly "homemade" foam arrow is MUCH more dangerous than the ones made by Archery Tag. Thanks for watching!

  • A BLUNT? RLLY? 0:17

  • 0:35 Is that an obese guinea pig in the backround?

  • That looks retard...

  • how far can these arrows actually go? I feel like it would be disappointing if they lobbed and didn't go very fast or far in a straight line. wouldn't feel like archery. hopefully they do tho!

  • @MrBaseball65 EXCELLENT question, thank you for asking! The standard playing field is 100'x50', and if you arc your shot, you can hit an opponent from one end to another. In fact, quite often, arrows are shot 10-20' out of bounds, so, at full draw with a 28# bow, a strong archer can easily shoot over 100'. And our newly released tips are shockingly accurate.

  • Archery is awesome!

  • 0:35 Bunnyyyyyyy

  • Did anybody else notice the animal in the backround at 34????

  • Lol theyre threatening us. Buy our stuff or youll end up like this melon!

  • that bow doesnt look like the official archery tag bow. does that mean other recurve bows could be used if they were a low poundage?

  • @crazyoperationz Yes. Archery Tag bows are 28lbs, and other recurve or longbows can be used, but we do not recommend exceeding 40lbs.

  • What's the name of the music please?

  • if u look at the background at 0:34 the is something running wut is it

  • Yup it isn't just a piece of foam it is a plastic cap with a piece of foam glued to it.. And this took a team of engineers to figure out?

I just use to cut off the tips and use cloth to pad and blunt the tips when I was 7.

  • i used to be a melon but i took an arrow to the face

  • @alros06 Haha!

  • @alros06 /watch?v=mSDfxde8fSg

Please take a moment to watch this. Needless to say, I despise your comment.

  • dont try shooting a blunt arrow into a watermelon... because its so much more dangerous than shooting target arrows at a proper target...

  • The watermelon took an arrow in knee

  • Why couldn't I use my compund bow with this?

  • @pyromaster37 Great question. It's because the kinetic energy is too great, and the arrow could split or shatter, causing possible injury. We recommend recurve or longbows with 40 pounds of draw or less. Thanks!

  • @archerytag do you make attachments to arrows, so i could use my arrows and bow?

  • @pyromaster37 Another excellent question. Unfortunately, no, we don't offer arrow kits because there is no way that we could guarantee that users would assemble them correctly, and that leaves too much room for injury. However, you can buy the arrows without buying a whole Tagmaster set. It's just $40 for four arrows. Check out the link on our channel. Thanks, and have a great Christmas!

  • 9 people try this at home

  • I think you guys are roasting those marshmallows wrong.

  • @McKIllaG5 Haha! We actually DID roast some in our Hunger Games spoof! Check it out on our channel. Have a great Christmas!

  • Good this u didn't shoot the Go Pro

  • cant wait to try this at home without using official archery tag™ equipment

  • You could use a rage 3 blade it's probably safe lol ;-) love the game would like to start with my young Ppl

  • Drill a hole in a tennis ball and use that.

  • @Avatar230594 tried ody doesn't work coz the tennis ball is too heavy and will make the arrow fall on the ground xDDD

  • you missed the rabbit in the background

  • Haha a costume made blunt.

  • by tag do u mean bow and arrow dodge ball?

  • @nerflongstrikecs6 Its kinda like airsofting with a bow.

  • @chestthumperarchery Yeah, it kind of is, but with more of a "thud" than a "sting" when you get hit. :) Have a great day!

  • @nerflongstrikecs6 There are all kinds of ways to play. There's a dodgeball-style game, but there are also arena battles, paintball-style battles in the woods, target shooting (allowing archers who live in town to practice in their backyards), and one of my favorites...Deer Hunter, where everybody goes into the woods and hides, and one player (the "deer") has to get to three specific points without getting shot. That one's a blast!

  • will this sport be coming to england because i do paintball but this looks really fun. comment back if this may happen in future

  • @craigwhite11 YES! We are! In fact, we already have one facility in the UK, at Black Cat Archery. You can learn more at their website, blackcatarchery . com. Thanks!

  • mm

  • will this sport come to england any time soon because i do paintball in england and archery tag looks really fun. comment back if that may be happening sometime in future

  • Man all you have to do is get a rounded piece of wood rounded like a quarter maybe a little bigger slap it on a stick wwith some cement glue but some kinda padding on it and your set xD

  • @MultiGhost119 Ha! That might sting a little bit. :)

  • Looks like great fun.

    John, California

  • i dont get it!!!

  • of you put the foam on the arrow and used an archery tag bow would it still be like that? (also i noticed that little black piece too.)

  • @reedfe No. At the end, we shot it again with an archery tag arrow (using the same bow), and it just bounces off.

  • I wish i saw this video earlier. 0_0

  • @AtDeathsDoor98 Same...my friend may not be wearing an eye patch if i did.

  • Go fishing with that bow and rod =D

  • gopro <3

  • I find this video racist to watermelons and all vegetables in general.

  • @unruler did you know watermelons are a fruit and not a vegetable nor a race?

  • I'm still trying to make it out there

  • @GunPointNation We're playing at Cree Lake this weekend. Here's the notice from our website:

Play Archery Tag™ At Cree Lake

Corunna Fire Dept. 3D Shoot September 17, 2011

3 Miles North of US 6 on St Rd 3

    Kendallville, Indiana

  • Thank god you did this video,I guess I won't put any foam on my arrows and play against my sister. Lol.

  • Great video, guys!

  • Anybody with common sense should know that you guys did more then just stick a foam piece infront of an arrow. Keep up the good work man and cant wait to try it out.
