No, Helen is not Frida. She is not even trying to be. This version of the song is so different from the original ABBA version that I find it hard to even compare them.

This version is extreamly good, It doesn't matter who sings it. The sound is what matters. I love the ABBA version too. I'm a big fan of ABBA. I find it quite sad if you have to criticize a good sound ing song. My conclusion is that you have nothing better to do than crab ALLLLL day. Maybe you should find a hobby?

I take that back. The way Helen makes a show fits her greatly. She basically took what Frida did Live In Japan and overdid it. And in overdoing it, it finds it's own perfection. Indeed, it is great simply for the way it deviates from the norm. Whereas the studio take has very precise mock cabaret which sounds very polished and nice and professional, this is just fun.

In other words, both versions rule.

Frida and Helen rule. (And Aggy too, but she didn't sing lead on this song.)

This is indeed a great version, but I agree in part with the guy who mentioned the overacting. It definately would fit in great with a musical, where it would definately be at home...but for a stand-alone track, on a regular album, it doesn't really fit in well.

It is awesome to watch her sing it like she owns it. She really looks like she's having fun, and that's the important part. :D

I really like that performance, this is probably the only time where a cover-version of an ABBA-song is at least as good as the original.

Helen is a wonderful singer - and she is live even better than on studio-recordings, something you can only say about a few singers around the world.

Where and when was this performance done by the way? The orchestra is too big for a BAO-performance so where is from then?
