Seems like RIM made a mistake didn't they. Amazon fire is going to beat every tablet out their because they use their own customised version of Android so you get all the apps with out all the silly fuss of doing this silly thing on the Blackberry Playbook.
I just purchased the Playbook for a family member but I might take it back. RIM appear to havge neglected their own Playbook market completely for their BlackBerry device. No mail client either so they have pissed customers off.
@face999 and, the fire have the hacker comunity, the playbook doesnt, but playbook can be for comapanys, but right now, you can buy this tablet for only 200US, thats is more than a bargain.
I'll echo the comment about only being able to have one android app running at any one time. That's pointless. I can see the benefit of getting more apps onto the Playbook, even if they are android apps. But I don't care about android apps. I want native Playbook apps. I want RIM to succeed but this is embarassing.
LIES! Just another unreleased "promise" that has not surfaced after many months of unhappy playbook user complaints. I will believe it when it is released. If it ever is.
That's actually really cool I'm surprised they said it's okay for them to do this ! But I dunno I'm kinda feelin the asus eee pad transformer but I'm looking into the play book as well !
kinda like the old one...

It looks like the Playbook can only start one Android app at a time...... so much for multitasking.
