  • keep the light in white shows fish better

  • awesome

  • i like the mix if fish, not sure its a 45 gallon though...

  • Thanks, they have all been relocated due to their growth and that is a 45 gallon tank, 36'' 12'' 25''

  • You should post a new video... Would love to see the tank now.

  • What is that "groundcover" thats kinda poofy on the left-center of the aquarium?

  • cool tank how many of each type of fish do u have in ur tank and do all the get along ok are the goldfish alright cause there coldwater??

  • Thanks, ATM there are much less fish in there now but today there are a bunch of Tetras and my 2 angels and 2 goldfish. Goldfish can live in waters ranging from 33*F to about 100*F obviously not for a long time at very high temps but for a tropical tank they can live in it perminatly. warmer waters just make them grow a little faster and digest food at a faster rate as oppsoed to colder waters

  • @bmueller777 would my crayfish go well with neon or cardinal tetras

  • @Drspank89 no, only if the tetras are food... Fish will come to a standstill almost at night and that's when the crayfish will be out looking for food and if it doesn't eat them it will definitely nip the fins making them look like shit imo...

  • wow that's a lot of fish for a 10 gallon tank esp when ur only supposed to have 1 inch of fish per gallon in the tank

  • its 45 gallon

  • thats a load of bullshet, it depends how active the fish are, trying to say that if u have fish that dont swim they need a big tank? load of rubbish... like weather loaches, very active need a 40g tank themself, only get about 8 inches long

  • the oscar will end up being alittle stunted and may only grow to 12" instead of 16"

  • dont worry, fish will not grow to the size of the tank, take an oscar for example, place one in a 30 gallon tank, in 2-3 months makes it a 75

  • Huh?

  • I get that your good at fish keeping and stuff but unlike people fish can control their growth to match their tank.

If the tank is too crowded they won't grow normally.

Sort of like if a baby were put in a glass box with 20 other babies. Even if they were feed properly they would not develop normally and live unhappy lives.

  • Thanks for saying I'm good at keeping fish, I think I'm okay at it. But you said "but unlike people fish can control their growth to match their tank." Can you send me this information on that topic?

I also think putting babies inside boxes with other babies is wrong.

  • Thanks, I removed 3 of the 6 Goldfish and "redid" the tank and added a canister filter. water perams are good as usual. You can't stunt a fishes growth. I've read about a kid keeping a goldfish in a 5g tank and it got to be 10'' long

  • even though stunting the growth of fish and stressing them till they die by overstocking is pretty, it's animal cruelty and you should take a couple dozen fish out of the tank.

  • It's not going to stunt their growth, I'm not making them smoke.... Ithas been stocked like this for about a month and I havn't lost a fish yet. My water prams are also good. I will also be removing more fish.

  • Yes it is about the vaules of ammonia, nirtate and nitrite. They are healthy, they are colorful and they'll grow regardeless of what kind of tank they are in. Stunting a properly fed fishes growth is pretty hard to do. The one inch per gallon rule is a crok of shit too. Oscars grow to be 12-14''. You can't keep them in a 15 gallon tank for long.

So as you can see I just easily disproved your idiotic theroy. Please keep the comments about things you know nothing of to yourself. Thanks

  • Haha, thanks but no thanks. My water perms are wonderful. I also know how to keep fish as you can see.

  • That 45 gallon tank is disgustingly overstocked. Plus, the fish are incompatible. Goldfish are coldwater fish, everything else tropical. Do your fish a favor, research before you cram everything in a tank.

  • Disgustingly overstocked? That's a little bit of an over statement I think... My bacteria colonies are doing a good job as you can see. The water tests don't lie :) The Goldfish can be in a very very wide temp range, 34*F to 100+*F. Warmer water just makes them grow faster and eat more ect. Carmed... I think not...
