@Excalion88 what do u know about volkswagen buses? my friend has a 75 type 2 bay window camper bus and a 65 type 1 split window barndoor. the bay window has been across the country 5 times. one engine rebuild. and its STILL running like the day it came off the assembly line in germany.

@enryu6 I know that any aircooled Volkswagen was built to be cheap and easy to fix. VW Buses are no exception. I had a '74 Bay I drove From Portland, Oregon to Victoria BC, Canada without a problem.

@Excalion88 volkswagen makes the most durable motors. my other friend had a jetta with over 700,000 miles on it. and it was still running like a champ. my point is volkswagens were mass produced. theyre durable, airtight, easy to work on, simplicistic, and even the name "volkswagen" means peoples car. thats the point. although cheaply manufactured, theyre pretty much the best vehicle u can get

FOLKSAM: highest safety grade + 40% for the year 2001 and previous.

SYNCRO: even better for technical reasons in terms of passive and active safety.

So t3 is not simply good. It is between the best!
