@bbrocks1039 Any color polymer clay and TLS (Translucent Liquid Sculpey) mixed together makes a great cupcake icing. I usually mix one part clay to two or three parts TLS...just mix until it looks like the consistency you want.
@OMGRainbowDonuts The shiny layer on the clay is glaze gloss... it comes separate for about 2-4 dollars depending on where you get it. All you do is take a paint brush, dip it in the glaze gloss and paint a light layer on your new and baked creation. :D Hope that helped.
i've got some experience sculping with Staedler clay and im now getting into polymer clay (ordered some sculpey clay online)
since i can tell for sure the outcome looks much more neat and the clay itself can be baked, now my question is: at what temperature or how long should i bake my sculptures? depends on sizes or amount of clay i've used?
Thanks so much for this, Im going to get some liquid clay. I use clay and pva glue to make a icing texture, its really good but im hoping that the liquid clay will work much easier!
how much is the clay extruder??

I was wondering what it is that makes the clay shiney after you bake it. Is it something in the clay or something you put on it?

@xPolymerClay Yep, they are right. I use Sculpey Glaze, Satin or Glossy, depending on the sheen I want.
