To say that aborion is strictly the males fault is the most ignorant thing i have ever heard. I agree there are cases like that, but they aren't a regularity. Abortion is a very hard thing to deal with and few people, both male and female, go through it with out lasting emotional issues. So rather than point fingers, which everybody knows is too easy and gets us no where, lets actually discuss the issues with intelligent conversation.
NO. It doesn't "take two to tango". It takes one male to impregnate a female. They do it all the time, they don't care what a woman or girl says! "No" they'll take to mean "maybe" and they'll just pressure her into sex. Happens all the time!! When males start acting responsibly and stop impregnating females who don't want babies, then sure, make abortion illegal. But until then, the moral responsibility is ON MALES. Plenty has been said about females "morals". Males need to GET some morals!!!!
when were you raped? its obvious by this comment you made.I agree that their are men who dont even deserve to have sex . I may be one of them but it does take in most cases two to tango we have the occational rape but dont act like it happens all of the time .
It's irresponsible MEN who are causing abortions! MEN have no business ejaculating into women and girls who don't want or shouldn't have babies! It's time to teach MEN to be responsible instead of predatory seducers and rapists. Boys should all be taught to keep their pants zipped up unless it's appropriate to create a baby. What we have instead is a culture saying to boys and men: get all the sex you can! Don't worry! Sweet-talk, coerce, seduce, lie, whatever it takes to get sex. That's wrong.
I just asked u about your stance on war. Since if u are pro-war u would be pro-killing-innocent-children as well. War kills innocent children as a rule.
If u force a raped woman to have a rapist's child, then I'd say you were anti-women's rights. Yes, it is a tragic situation but it would empower men to rape women whenever they had the urge to have a child. Don't use the punishment argument since punishment does not deter rape 100%. Even when rape was punished by death, there was still rape.
I heard he told them they will go to Hell. That's a physical threat... 'as far as I am concerned' as I said before. I just spoke with an almost-lawyer :p (my gf's sister is a recent law graduate & is taking the Bar exam soon). According to her it is not legal to threaten someone with harm if they do not vote the way you want them to. Unfortunately the priest would probably get away with it if someone sued him since his threat is in the hereafter. I think that ruling should be ammended however :D
There are limits on freedom of speech just like us Atheists & liberals have limits on our freedom of speech. Threatening voters with physical harm if they do not vote the way you want, is illegal... You know the example about screaming 'fire!' in a crowded theatre when there is in fact no fire... right?
As usual, people without knowledge are like an empty barrel (lot of noise, no substance). Any human being that supports delivering a baby (except for the head) and then killing the baby is morally bankrupt. This includes Obama. Abortion is nothing more than a self centered act that reduces a womans value to NOTHING more than a vagina. Any person with morals (including priests and you) have the obligation to speak out. Get off your duff and get your brain into gear.
The more interesting article on that page is the second one about women being unable to become priests and how one priest is being excomunicated for believing they should be allowed to become priests... They all a bunch O fags and that's why they don't want women in the priest hood.
Well this is NOT a seperation of church and state issue and the church has every right to do what it did through this one priest. Naturally of course those of us standing outside the Catholic "Faith Bubble" find it ridiculous and heavy handed. But then the Catholic Church in bygone times was infamous for being heavy handed wasn't it?
I really couldn't care less what some priest thinks. The catholic church position, that a zygote is a child with a separate soul, is merely wrong in my opinion. Their own holy book speaks repeatedly of the"breath of life" being a precursor of being, not having a soul. This individual priest is just bat shit crazy.
When clerics of whatever faith try to influence votes in a secular United States, their parishes, if not their entire church, should lose their tax-exempt status.
He has committed a felony by violating the separation of church & state. He's using his religious authority, a tax-exempt status mind you, to intimidate voters into accepting his agenda. This is a crime as far as I am concerned.
By 'intimidate' I mean he is threatening his parisioners with Hell. Which is what some Roman Catholics believe they will get if they cannot receive Communion. That's voter intimidation.

What about when a woman is raped? Did the woman choose then? ...tell me are you pro-war? Did you know that war kills innocent children too.
