I loved Rob Brydon for a while, but he's really started to annoy me. I understand why so many people dislike him.

he's usually playing a character, be it Keith or Bryn or whoever, but he's still very annoying. I've mainly started to dislike him since I heard BBC fired Angus and replaced him with Rob (WILTY).

Did you see him *try* to host Have I Got News for You a little while ago? He was terrible at it, he'll detract from the rest of the show. He always draws attention to himself even if he doesn't have anything funny to say, and that's exactly what a host isn't supposed to do. It's just my opinion though, I know.

That's the whole point of the host. They are the main focuse of the show.

Just because you don't think he's a good presenter doesn't mean you have to insult him personally.

The host isn't the main focus of the show, they're supposed to fulfull their position, hosting the show but making sure the panelists get to show off as much as possible.

That's the definition. 'Master of ceremonies' means the host keeps the show moving from one part to the next, he's NOT the main focus.
