What needs to be, I am sorry to say is need to impeach the 4 members of the supreme court that stepped on the intent of the bill of rights. It seem they have gone senile and forgot the meaning of the words -- bear, keep, shall, not, infringed. Not only that those 4 can’t - won’t look up the words in a dictionary to find the definitions to those words. This kagan seem to be in the same boat.
Sotomayor = CRAP! I protested this judge's appointment and I live in liberal shithole Queens, NY. Anything can be used as a weapons, everything from the kitchen knife, a violin bow or your car in motion. Does that mean we ban them??? Think people!! Liberal democrats were absent when G-d was handing out brains to people.
What a joke. She says numchucks with is a mis pronounciation of nunchucks which is an evolutionised word for nunchaku. she made a fool of herself for anyone who knows anything anout nunchaku. If she is in charge of anywhere, or has any power its a joke.
"numb" chucks and "none"chucks , either way they're "NOON-CHALK-EW"! she's such a Cum Dunt, and those who support her are Fum Ducks. not too hard to make your own nunchaku same as it aint too hard to grow yer own "marry jew wanna". and to think that when she was first nominated the P.C. infected media made it an issue about how to properly pronounce her name.wise up ,puta!
Nunchaku were common farm tools. Because the then opressive government of Japan outlawing swords, the common people had to develop other ways to defend themselves. Sotomayor apparently doesn't know that to be completely protected, one's government would have to ban everyday items like kitchen knives, firepokers, baseball bats, etc. Is she advocating an even harsher ban on "weapons" than even ancient Japan? Good God.
Ancient japan? The modern japan has perhaps the strictest laws with regards to weapons. Guns are totally banned, and you have to have all kinds of permits to use martial arts weapons like Katanas, etc.
Guess what though, Japan is one of the safest nations on Earth with a higher standard of living than the U.S.
@elsamuraiguapo Guns are not totaly banned police still carry them. They also have less freedoms and a strict police force that most common folk are afraid to cross. Not to mention the worlds highest suicide rate. Dumb ass. You've never been huh?
1. Police carrying guns is not private gun ownership.
2. Strict police force that people are afraid of? LOL, That sounds a lot more like American cops to me. Japanese police are the most friendly and helpful in the world.
3. Wow, what a one-dimensional mind you have. Young people committing suicide has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that they can't buy guns, it has to do with Japan's hierarchical and honor-based system.
2.) Your wrong In America police are held responsible for everything they do in Japan not so much. I've seen the way common folk act when the police are called. I've seen police intimidation in Japan. I have family there.
3.) Never said it had anytthing to do with guns. The high suicide rate is because of all the stress imposed on kids to succed in school. They'd rather die then fail.
@jsh78mang 1. Uhh, yeah I said illegal. If we go by your inept logic, tanks are legal because american soldiers drive them? Why mention that Japanese cops carry guns? It's a fucking given.
2. American police intimidate people way more than anywhere else in the world. Seriously WTF, I cannot even believe I'm having this discussion. They'll taze and beat you for looking at them the wrong way, the whole fucking world knows that.
1.) So by your inept logic drugs are illegal but it is ok for cops and soldiers to do them? It's also not illegal to own a tank in this country it just can't be armed and you have to have the correct lic.
2.) There are many videos of U.S. yes. Ever think that's because you can't tape Japense cops or that they won't let you. there are many other places in the world where you won't find cops abusing people on youtube. I'm sure that never crossed your mind though. continued....
@jsh78mang You're misinformed, it's perfectly legal to tape Japanese cops, like it is in the U.S. matter fact, I've had my camera out around Japanese cops before. It's American cops which will right away tell you to shut the camera off if they see you with one, even though they know it's your 1st amendment right to film them.
I just looked up the so called Japanese police brutality videos, and I gotta say, if that's "brutality" then what the cops here do must be known as "police lethality."
@elsamuraiguapo Never said It was against the law did I? I think you need to go back to that school of yours and learn how to understand American English. Hey we obviously have a diffrence of opinion lets just call it at that. I'm tired of bickering back and forth with you. Have a good day.
@jsh78mang so scarce that worrying about getting shot is essentially a non-issue, rather than carry a gun around yet still be equally vulnerable to being shot and killed myself.
Yeah, we apparently do have different opinions. Don't worry though, you don't need to tell me to get the hell out of America like all the other small-penis-compensating, gun-totting republicans; I already plan to.
@elsamuraiguapo A diffrence of opinions is true. People see things in diffrent lights that is just how the world works. I'm not worried and i would never tell anyone to "Get the hell out " Conflicting views make this country better. A single side to a story never tells the whole tale. As for the Small penis thing it shows your lack of knowledge in the feild of firearms. I come from a back ground of police and military men. continued...
@elsamuraiguapo I know how and when to use a firearm and have studied in their use and tech. Republican, Nope. I can not be defined by political ideology. No party agrees with my beliefs completely. Also remeber there are plenty of "Left wing" pro gunners out there. Small penis? Really lowering yourself to ad hom attacks? Sorry no problem in that feild. Do enjoy your trip. Where ever it may take you.
@jsh78mang It's easy to claim you know how and when to responsibly use a firearm, but does that mean it's true for everyone else? I guess the difference between us is that I don't trust people as much as you do. There's plenty of situations where even ordinarily responsible trustworthy folks don't use the best of judgment - especially when things like factors like relationships and alcohol are in this mix.
@elsamuraiguapo I have gone through training far beyond what your average police officer gose through. Military and Tactical. Considering most only have to go to the range once a year to pass a non-moving target test. I am able to use my firearm's above most of my LEO friends. I answer force for force, Walk away from the fights I can, and never carry when drinking. I always, as a rule of thumb, think things over. Unless the situation demands immediate action. Then I rely on my training.
@jsh78mang After all, a "law abiding citizen" is simply one who hasn't committed a crime...yet.
And I think my comment about the gun nuts in this country is at least partially true. Face it, a lot of Americans have a bizarre obsession with firearms that you just don't see anywhere else in the world.
Many of them will hide under the guise of self-defense, but in reality we both know that the truth is they just like feeling empowered by carrying a firearm(s).
@elsamuraiguapo Depends on your definition of gun nuts. I will agree there are a few bad apples in the gun world but you get that no matter where you go or what your into. Some people just get into martial arts or MMA to reinforce there already aggresive nature. Alot of the problem is misunderstanding. People have a tendancy to fear things they don't understand. It's easier then trying to understand something you fear or dislike.
@elsamuraiguapo I think you need to go live in a remote cave somewhere away from people as much as you seem to fear and distrust them. The way you speak one could immagine you think EVERY gun owner will go out and commit a crime. When guns are actually used far more times to STOP a crime than commit one. If I'm in a store and a mad man comes in with the intent to kill everyone in there. At least there is more chance that people's lives will be savedbecause I am armed and trained with my firearm.
@jsh78mang Do a search here on youtube for police brutality, see any Japanese cops there? Didn't think so. Even Chinese cops are more lenient that American ones. I was never stopped or harassed by Japanese authorities. In fact I would often go to the neighborhood police boxes and they were always helpful in giving me directions.
3. If it has nothing to do with guns then why the fuck did you bring it up?? *facepalm*
The fact remains that Japan is a cleaner, safer, and gun-free.
@elsamuraiguapo You obviously didn't try hard enough. Just foound a boat load of video's about Jap police abuse try typing "Japanese police abuse" it works.
3.) You also mentioned The quality of living is better but children there are more prone to suicide. oops you must have forgot that. here you can have this back *facepalm*
The fact is just like other countries Japan holds a false sense of safety (there are still murders, pscho's, and gun deaths) at the cost of personal freedoms.
@jsh78mang 1. Dude are you totally daft? My original comment was that guns are illegal in Japan, and you came back with your idiocy about how I was wrong because cops carry them. First of all, no shit; second of all isn't it freakin' obvious that governments are an exception? When someone tells you a heat-seeking rocket launcher is illegal do you respond "NUH-UH THE'RE NOT ILLEGAL CAUSE THE MILITARY HAS THEM"? Does someone really need to spell out that they're talking about private ownership?
@jsh78mang 3. See the whole teen suicide thing as a straw man's argument. U.S. has per capita higher crime rates in every other field (is suicide even a crime?), many times over....but that's all irrelevant cause a few teens kill themselves, right?
There's murderers and psycho's everywhere, just like there's exceptions to every rule. Yeah it is at the cost of personal freedoms, your point? Isn't ANY law a restriction of personal freedoms? FYI U.S. has more than any other nation.
@elsamuraiguapo Straw man ? Nope You mentioned pro's to their society I mentioned cons. "Yeah it is at the cost of personal freedoms what's your point"
My point is well I'll let Ben tell you "They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety." Your "safety" feeling is false. You deserve neither
@jsh78mang Sorry, I wasn't doing a list of pros and cons to living in the U.S. vs. Japan. I was looking at guns and crime rates exclusively when you came in and started talking about suicide rates out of nowhere. If I was actually list cons about the U.S. I could go on all day long.
I could say the same about your safety feeling, it's false. Carrying a gun with you doesn't make you immortal lol, far from it. No matter how skilled you think you are. I'd rather be in a place where guns are...
