  • I LOVE our regional accents, and like James here, proud to show it. Not much here, but slipping out now and again.West country, Ooo Aar.

I doubt the yanks can believe how wide the range when they ever hear them - the film makers rarely use them, idiotically.

We have more regional accents than all other english speaking countries COMBINED.

  • one of the greatest actors ever!

  • I'm glad this guy couldn't breathe behind the V mask....just saying.

  • the blade for chopping. the pommel for smashing brains. the guard for poking eyes. an she just smiles like an idiot, lol.

  • Nitpick: It's great Hollywood, (or whatever) finally understand about medieval swordfighting... but why, oh why do they persist with this 'broadsword' nonsense. Broadswords are Renaissance italian weapons, a whole three centuries later... (I mean we are talking Ezio Auditore period).

  • @socrateswept its not a broadsword its a great sword or zweihander, the broadsword style of weapon had been used for ages before the renaissance normans vikings franks all used them

  • @allmodcons6 I'm afraid I disagree, the first instances of the word Broadword do seem to be from around the 15th and 16th centuries.

Having said that, the reality of this issue is damned hard to determine so I may well be talking out of the wrong orifice. On the other hand, I agree that what Mr. Purefoy (Marshall) wields is definately a Two Hander/Greatsword/Warsword.

  • this guy should of played 007

  • @TheUnP0ssible thank you for that. I always thought of that. He would be great and amazing. He's an amazing actor.

  • He is amazing, proud of a fellow Tauntoner

  • @101lolrockstar thats awesome. He's one of my favorite actors.

  • What's so cool is that's my friends uncle

  • this film was soooo awesome...i was thoroughly impressed..not braveheart but damn close.truly a great film.

  • IronClad is badass and James Purefoy plays an awesome role, He is actually believable in the templar uniform and wielding that huge fuckin broadsword. It has some notable support actors and was casted very well. from a historical standpoint it is extremely inaccurate but who gives a shit when it turns out so great.

  • who is she?

  • "once you set it in motion, you had to go with the flow." yea he's talking about his penis. definitely. there's no other way hes talking about anything else.

  • who is the girl?

  • She so wants James Purefoy's sword!!! You can tell she wants to swallow it whole.

  • This guy killed it in Ironclad. He became one of my favorite actors because he was so amazing. Last line... "Is killing a noble thing? But a life fought for others, that is a noble thing and that is a noble thing"

  • This is very off topic, but damn is the interviewer gorgeous! =0

  • @antred11 I wouldn't kick her out of bed for eating cookies....

  • He is such a great actor, looking forward to seeing 'Ironclad' looks badass!

  • He knows what he is talking about! I can never get enough of sexy, articulate James!!!
