This isn't really Sparks at their best. A bit too techno-ey, and not enough soul as their material that they produced in the 70's and 80's.

oh man, their "techno-ey" stuff is the best! if you haven't heard Lil' Beethoven, it's their best album. They've really been doing a ton of experimenting with cheeky, spoken-word sarcasm and musical stasis since Gratuitous Sax.
