  • who is singing?

  • its funny how people see death metal and all these other types of really fast music to be really "hardcore" and "heavy" but to be honest, bands like The Melvins, Eyehategod, and Neurosis are the heaviest bands youll ever find

  • @evanisgay11 Fast bands are more intense, more doom oriented bands are more massive sounding

  • awwwww wook at the wittle baby melvins! they're so cute! :3

  • Tool, isis, kyuss, the melvins, no part. Order. All good bands

  • @mistacased well, tool isn't

  • god damn i love slow music

  • 6,666th view, wicked cover

  • @bloodybloodshed weird dude, i also have 6666th view.... IT'S A SIGN

  • The Melvins are hands down the most influentual band in the past 25(i think) years.

  • This song makes me cry tears of Mercury

  • @HumansVirus i saw isis play on the farewell tour with the melvins and totimoshi - king buzzo was giving away axe handles and whiskey at the mechandise booth for everyone to show isis how they felt

  • Such an awesome cover. Great collaboration too

  • Wow, this sound disturbing. Awesome cover!

  • you're a retard if you don't love isis after giving them a real chance. and this is an awesome cover

  • @daveonegative well then dave, be a good guy a recomend some good songs so i can redeem my status as a retard

  • @jamesrandle46and2 Easy/No Problems: Neurosis, Early Cult Of Luna, Some Of Godflesh and Jesu (J.Broadericks outings maybe even Head Of David), Yob, Electric Wizard, EyeHateGod, Weedeater, RWAKE, Deadbird, Pig Destroyer and Scott Hull's Solo works, Fantomas...Plenty more but that is a start

  • @jamesrandle46and2 Easy/No Problems: Neurosis, Early Cult Of Luna, Some Of Godflesh and Jesu (J.Broadericks outings maybe even Head Of David), Yob, Electric Wizard, EyeHateGod, Weedeater, RWAKE, Deadbird, Pig Destroyer and Scott Hull's Solo works, Fantomas...Plenty more but that is a start. Earth, Sleep, High On Fire, Southern Lord's roster, alot of Ipecac's roster, Hydrahead records, Iron Monkey and so on. You just have to look beneath the surface

  • @nekromachine i like electric wizard, earth, and fantomas. but i am very iffy about a lot of the new age sounding metal. great musicians but just not my cup of tea, no offense

  • @jamesrandle46and2 None taken at all James man. If we all liked exactly the same stuff then audio/music in general would be a boring and stagnant place. All the best to you. Dean aka nekromachine

  • @nekromachine COURTESY ON THE INTERNET...? THE FUCK

  • @Beenyad There are plenty of keyboard warriors already with no manners. Admittedly i myself have been guilty in the past but heck life is too short and audio is to each their own. Maybe i just smoke to much that it makes me laid back. Medicated courtesy ain't a bad thing. Peace out

  • i checked out some of the other music from thses two bands and i dont care for their music too much, but this cover is almost better than the original, (not to take anything away from the melvins)

  • Who plays what on this cover?

  • I'm taking a guess here, but I reckon Scott Hull is guitaring on this cover. Sounds close to the style he plays in PD's Starbelly.

  • @JunkyardGod89 yeah this sounds a lot like Hull's tone.

    obscenely sludgy and thick!

  • @RPExecutor I can't decide who's got a cooler tone, Scott Hull or Mitch Harris.

  • this is the only way this song could be done justice. holy fuck this is amazing

  • Fuck RISE Records with this song.

  • HEAVY!!!!!

  • AAAAHHHH...Relapse bands....hit and miss...but every now and then...heavy as a ton of bricks being shat out of an elephant on to your temple while a circus midget watches maury povitch cleaning a shotgun....well done indeed!!

  • Slow and brutal as fuck!

  • this song is otherworldly.

  • whos singing?

  • fucking radical!!!

  • Fun fact. You could listen to Agoraphobic Nosebleed's PCP Torpedo EP one-and-a-half times in the time this song is on for. Or half of Altered States of America.

  • DENSE MATERIAL

  • This is probably the most legible song either band has done too. Isis and ANb rule!

  • This is probably the slowest song ANb have and will ever be involved it, hahaha!

    Awesome cover.

  • and the longest

  • What is this on?

  • It's on

We Reach: A Tribute to the Melvins

  • ah i see. thanks.

  • I see what you mean there, but these two bands are just going for straight grit here. Its so refreshing

  • This song is dirty, and it fucking slays.

  • Damn good, indeed. Lacks the "comical" value, if you will, of the original, though.

  • That's all good. Bands should do their own thing with covers.

  • Wow, this is a good cover
