the CX3 is great (as is the MCX), the MSR is fabulous, smaller and a bit harder to fly (not much really) but way better! I would not rate the CX3 as better than the MCX but its bigger and looks cool as feck with the lights (it is harder to fly but not much, the MCX is supreme as a starter co-ax heli, might cost more than the 2&3ch pieces of crap you can get out there but its worth it)

as far as the forward speed of the cx3, try shifting a little bit of the weight forward on the heli, such as the batterie.

@chokitobike I have an mcx (no cx3) I think the cx3 is the winner anyways there is a reason it is more expensive though I must say the mcx 300s is BRILLIANT and can really fly in small spaces and is VERY controllable.

I think you actually can't say who's better, because CX 3 is much bigger than MCX

I think you need more room to fly for CX 3

and I think gor MCX it's the best.

I like MCX more, but I think they're both good!

i think the mcx would have handled the course just as well or better(both copters actually) in better hands.

yes i'll post my mcx and msr videos soon, just got these so msr is a bit of a handful for now where mcx is a blast to fly right out of the box. both are bound to dx6i and i have a blade cp pro that i'm working my way up to by spring 2010.

I agree Mostlyfun, I have a cx3 and an mxc, I would let my gf fly the mcx and she does not even like em. check out my rubish cx3 vids, mcx to follow, lol

I will let anyone fly my mcx because they don't break when crashed .

I can't say the same for the cx3.

I do enjoy both but my new favorite is the MSR

cx3 has more grown up features and dosent feel like those silly flying toys

the mcx does tend to feel kinda toyish

and more for the kids ild say

but never the less they are both fun flyers but the cx3 can be flown outdoors making it more interesting for the advanced flyer

the cx3 does need more room to fly and take advantage of the biger power too

i feel its a slightly unfair contest because they arnt the same scale and both have advantages over each other

The mcx and the cx3 are two different animals. While they are both coaxial and fly very well, they have different features. the cx3 has the heading lock gyro and can actually be flown outside in very (I mean very) light winds. The mcx is indoor only. I've got both and like them both a lot.

If anything the cx3 is better...they fly the same but the cx3 can take more winds and the transmitter is better
