  • Damn I want this song but it cost almost $100, i was in 7th grade when this song came out. it still kick ass today

  • i don't care what anyone says, their singer has the coolest hair do!

  • Killer groovy song; real laid-back sleaze vibe. The whole album is amazing too.

  • EZO and Dead End were really ahead of their time back then

  • なつかしーーー

  • I remember taping this off Headbanger's Ball in the late 80's. Had no idea who they were, but I the song was cool. Thanks for posting!

  • @Lupercirculus Did the same thing! lol Still have the VHS tape - from 87 I think.

  • and trying to be pretenders

  • EZO should have been the reigning band from Japan - and any problems with the 2nd album (which was still really good overall) were from pressure brought on by the distributing label.

  • I had a friend introduce me to this band...I have no idea where I was but man this band kicks some serious ass. Can't get enough of their music...Awesome

  • 熱い~くちづけ・・・ha~a~aって移民の歌???

  • COOL!

  • I can't count how many times I listen to this song on repeat :)

  • I agree, the first album was much better in that Masaki showed more of a diverse vocal range and on the second album he used that pinched nasal screech exclusively that drove me CRAZY in the worst way. His accent is rather minimal here, I understand him just fine. And I agree; both this band and X Japan rocked, and anybody who calls them posers has no clue. Enough said.

  • So much better than those poseurs, X Japan.

  • @tempofreak69 poseurs how are they poseurs. Ones hair metal and ones speed metal

    LRN2METAL

    dumbass.

    Both bands kick ass.

  • ........ thanks, nice grindy song ! they were one of the BEST !!!

  • I read the guitarist is a chef, now...

  • I personally think these guys were the sexiest and coolest band ever. Their songs are just awesome

  • I thought only their second album was produced by Gene Simmons? their self titled is better..

  • I bought their eponymous cassette in the late 80s because the cover looked cool...judging the book by its cover really paid off that time! I've since acquired CD versions of the self-titled and 'Fire Fire' works. Excellent.

  • @rage1umr ......I would love to have those CD's ! Could you tell me how you aquired them !!! That would be awesome, thanks ! RSVP

  • @bobbyalligator7

I found them both on eBay; the second CD appears to be a Japanese import (really cool), and the debut was especially surprising - it has the word 'PROMOTIONAL' across the actual CD. I didn't pay much for them either.

  • Ezo is fuckin awesome! still to this day i get thumbs up at traffic lights when i crank this up

    Ezo rules!

  • @metalheart80s dude where do you live? I wish I did when i play EZO

  • great album. great sound. really great live, I caught them in 1989

  • The guitarist has such a unique soloing sound and style on all of their songs. Very unique for the 80's

  • i love ezo, check out my remix of kiss beth thankx

  • Man, the singer is great at English.

  • Dude, you're an asshole and if anyone is lying, it was their tour manager because i'm just telling you the exchange that took place and the venue i was working at. I looked up the drummer and what he was doing in 1996 by the way and he played with several bands that year...not just Loudness

  • I work at Sound Inn Studios in Chiyoda, Tokyo, in post production & mastering. One of our head producers often does work for JVC, and has produced for the band he is now apart of. He was a live engineer in the 60s and 70s for bands such as Flower Travellin Band and JL&C. The 1996 Olympics were July-August, Loudness were touring at this time, and also making a best album. You have already admitted you are a liar via your age. 47 years old, and your English is worse than my 8 years of English.

  • Here is another weird story......i used to be a live sound engineer and in 1996 when the olympics came to Atlanta i was called to come do a set up and soundcheck for a Japanese cover band. So i'm miking the drums when i notice a few of the guys's sticks that say EZO on them and i ask the tour manager is he is the guy from EZO and he says yes he is. He tells the drummer that i am a huge fan and the drummer says "Oh you must be that guy that bought the album" i love this band, one of the best ever

  • I bought all 4 of their albums, good story! I always Liked EZO. Back in 1989 or 1990, the radio said EZO was coming to Tijuana, Mexico, I live in San Diego. Anyway, I was excited! But something happened and they didn't play for some reason. One of my favorite bands.

  • You are a liar. He was performing with loudness at that time. In 1996 there was year long tour of Japans heavy metal "All Stars". In your profile, it says you are 88 years old, a mid-70 year old live sound engineer? You are a pathological liar.

  • a weird story... the 1st time i listened to this cassette, yes cassette... was in my car & the tape just spit out during a song, more than once. every time i checked, it was the song "destroyer". that REALLY freaked me out at the time!

but, i loved this band when they came out in the 80's. it's really cool to see them reappear, thanx to the internet! by the way, i am computer illiterate, so finding this was awesome.

    Thank you!!! :)

  • Thats funny. The first time I heard them was in 1987. I wasn't into them at first but then songs grew on me and I couldn't get enough of this band.

You right about the internet, I bought two EZO albums back when they were known as Flatbacker. Found it on EBAY.

  • COOL SONG

  • I love, love, love this song! The guitar sound just kills me!!

  • I have always been a fan of this band. wish they had done more,GREAT SONG!!!!!

  • Saw them at Toads place in New Haven CT when this album came out. They put on such an awesome show and the band was very friendly. I can't say enough good things about them. Great musicians, great people! VERY MEMORABLE SHOW!!

  • Gene Simmons, produced their album

  • They wore makeup but, it didn't get close to Kiss'. Kiss' makeup is much better.

  • EZO were called Flatbacker in fact- they were the kinda metal band that had really cool hair ya know? Sure they wanted to sound like Loudness cuz every Japmetal band wanted to sound like Loudness but they wanted to dress like Johnny Thunders too Johnny Thunders from the future even and its all so goddamn loud that you simply cannot listen to it at a reasonable volume, because it WONT LET YOU." - sleazegrinder

  • AWESOME tune here. Yes, Masaki's accent is very minimal and I wish he'd used this vocal approach more often, he sounds great! Is it me or is he channeling Andrew Eldritch for all he's worth here? Bottom line, great stuff; I wish these guys had made it further in America.

  • Is this a cover?

  • Masaki has alomst no accent! They rule!

  • How Awesome...I had the chance to see this band live, and party back stage with them.....WAY COOL...bring the 80,s BACK!!!!

  • classic! i love it, takes me back to the day of hair metal, these guys were hot on my hairband list with this song! thanks for posting!

  • やべえ鳥肌たつw

    今聴いても背筋ゾクゾクするわ

  • I fur into this song, maybe u'll like destroyer by them also...Also check out a band called Loudness...another asian metal band

  • fuck! this band should regroup and reactivate this kind of music!.. we need more bands like this nowadays!...

  • この曲はじめて聞いたんですが すごい良い曲ですね!!!!! なんで売れんかつたのか不思議です........

  • like motley crue only better from japan

  • These guys could be held directly responsible for global warming. The day this video was shot, a three-mile-wide hole formed in the ozone layer.

  • lol i get what ur saying but i think it was X JAPAN who cuased global warming

  • Gene Simmons, produced the LP

  • KISS of FIRE great song...Thanks for the flashback.

  • @666crue flashback heart attack!

  • Oh no-tears are falling!!!

  • Thanks for posting the vid. I have been searching fruitlessly for the CD. Anyone know where I might be able to find this?

  • I bought mine tower records online store.

  • CD Universe has it. Go to the site, type in EZO in the white box next to artist...it'll pop up. It's re-issued from japan...39.29...expensive, but it is available.

  • OK MOFOS!!! I think I found Shoyo Iida!!! Apparently he's working as an executive Sushi Chef at a restaurant in Miami called SushiSamba. It's a fusion of Sushi, Brazilian, and Peruvian cuisine. Place looks high dollar, but you can apparently take sushi lessons from Shoyo Iida himself!!!!

  • Awesome!!!

  • First time I've seen this band. Been listening to a couple of tracks and they sound pretty good.

  • Great track, great album DESPITE the Gene Simmons kiss of death. Anything Gene Simmons produced outside of Kiss wound up to be dismal selling projects, but a great band nonetheless.

  • Excellent song! Good riffing, and I like how Masaki sings in a lower register; it actually sounds better than the usual nasal screech he used; I also like how he reserved that til the ending, when it sounds like he's really getting into it. His accent isn't as heavy as I thought it was, too, he's actually very easy to understand on this tune. And is it me or is he channeling Andrew Eldritch (Sisters of Mercy) in this video? Very cool, altogether!

  • Oh yeah...that opening riff is "War Pigs"! Good riff pilfering there. :D

  • Classic Headbangers Ball memories! Thanx for this classic.

  • I rememeber these guys were produced by Gene Simmons

  • E-Z-O it's very great

  • this song rocks !!
