I loved this game, but now that I look back, it's not very...aethstetically pleasing nor polished. Animations, really. I still love it. I really hope that LucasArts/whoever decides to publish the game with a newer engine. Unity, UnrealEngine, even if they used the AOE3 engine and removed the home city crap.

@Ch3wyHomz I found this game on Amazon.com for less than 10 dollars. It's worth every red cent in my opinion; I don't care much for Star Wars or Age of Kings but this game struck a fine balance for some odd reason with me. I love seeing wave after wave of my droids marching unflinchingly toward an enemy base and seeing the chaos that ensues. Good luck finding it.

@TheRookiejames Unless your computer got degraded or is very very bad for gaming Stronghold Crusaders and this game will work. However for vista you will need to do something to fix a color glitch.

the only thing i don't like about this game is that there is no attack-move option, that would be handy during attacks, but other than that great game. Lots of factions to choose from, all with their strengths and weaknesses.

My favorite factions are the Republic and Trade Federation. Empire at War is supposed to be a newer version but it was disappointing to me.
