you people are the worst, you're criticizing WoW for not having one mainstream storyline like the other games? blizzard has taken a different approach to a successful franchise and kept the francise as a whole going. as for storyline, WoW tells the aftermath of the events of TFT in arcs as opposed to one mainstream storyline; why? because there were many characters and races effected in the events of warcraft 3

I'm sorry, but I've played this game since the original came out, WoW almost completely ruined the story, Wrath of the Lich king only further advanced this and I fear that Cataclysm will destroy the story as a whole.

I can only HOPE that warcraft 4 takes place after TFT and doesn't continue the bullshit that is WoW. While world of warcraft is indeed a fun game, the story is completely ruins the game if you've played the the original RTS's.

WoW ruined story line is all. i mean look at starcraft they were goign to make a starcraft ghost game so that would have ruined starcraft... i like WoW but i also like warcraft 1,2 and 3

Yes it did, WarCraft 2 is by far my fav. of the series for its dark tone and more mature content. WC3 was great, but it created a lot of races, creatures and events that were not needed.

If Blizzard had taken a different role and used the things established by WC2 it would have been IMO much better.

WoW did ruined the story, but also the franchise as a whole.

Yep because a game with no character advancement is going to overthrow a game who sold 10 million expansion packs within it's first few days. A game that is made by Blizzard a company that has 1/4th of last years top 20 pc games sold by copies. Starcraft Warcraft 3 WoW: Original WoW: TBC and WoW: WOTLK

Damn. You have just got to love the beautiful animation in that intro... so smooth and fluid. The narrator also has an incredible, powerful voice as well. ^_^
