  • I have heard and read at least 6 stories liek yours and STILL I ordered because c'mon - those colors right?! I think it was under $12 worth of the $0.25 samples. SO I figure if I never see the $ again at least I'm not out that much. That was a week ago and they all arrived today. But perhaps she's have enough complaints since '09 that she's found it easier to send orders on time? In any event I'm sorry to hear of your luck thanks for the rant/review

  • I placed and order on 2/10/10 and I received it 2/25/10. I ordered around 80 samples. I received them all plus they sent me a couple of freebies. They colors are very nice and pigmented. I will order from them again. I have no complaints.

  • I ordered in early November and the products still haven't replied. Maybe they have problems because of so many people ordering their cheap samples, but you know, one of the reason people ONLY order samples from them is because they can't afford to spend money on a full jar that may never arrive. Ugh.

    I only spent $10, but still, it's annoying. And it's too late for me to file a Paypal dispute. :/

  • Well, I got my order. After four MONTHS.

    ...and I received 33 samples. I ordered 95. Needless to say, I'm not happy.

  • It took me two months to get my first order. I wrote her about 6 times with no replies.

    The thing is, ALWAYS use paypal ... then if you don't get anything within 45 days you can file a complaint and get your money back.

  • lol i just made a review on this company too, i am so unhappy they have bad customer service it took 3 months for me to get my samples i emailed them 10 times and got a response only once! i don't recommend them either

  • Quick update - it's now been three MONTHS since I ordered with them and after ignoring all of my (polite) e-mails, I finally broke down and disputed the charge. Thankfully my credit company issued a full refund (Archetype is notoriously awful about replying to disputes, big shock), but I've also filed a complaint to the Better Business Bureau. Please ladies, AVOID them at all costs!

  • i just ordered two weeks ago and got curious because i havent received a confirmation email, invoice or anything. I've already paid. Ive sent multiple emails for at least an invoice and havent heard anything. if its any consolation i heard that its worth the wait. apparently the products are even more pretty in person. I totally agree though. rediculous customer service.

  • I was just curious if you ever got your order. I really wanna place an order with them myself, but so many seem to be unhappy with them. Just wanted to check and see if your experience got better.

  • I placed an order with them 40 days ago and was charged on 7/24 for my purchase - over a month (and several unanswered e-mails) later, I've yet to receive anything in the mail. I originally ordered because I had heard that their customer service had improved vastly in the past few months, but it looks like they're up to their old tricks! If I do not receive my order within the next couple of weeks I'll be disputing the charges and reporting them to the BBB (they currently have an F, btw). Ugh!

  • Everyday Minerals has a forum on their site and there's a huge thread about Archetype Cosmetics. It seems backorder colours are the reason for slow shipping, as new orders are shipping before older ones.

  • This is really a horrible company, I made an order in OCTOBER of last year and have yet to receive it! I'm sure the colors are pretty but I advice everybody to stay away from this company, and instead buy from any of the numerous other MMU companies that provides quick and reliable service!

  • Your accent is AWESOME! *jealous* I ordered from them also and it took about 1 1/2 months to US, but this was back when no one heard of them. The products are actually really good, but it's only 1 lady doing the orders and she def needs to get help. Regardless, the wait is ridiculous!!! So sry...

  • I would call your credit card company and have them reverse the charges as you have not received the product you ordered. At some point, enough is enough.

    I can't believe a company would even charge you before sending out the product. I don't think they should have taken money from you till the order was shipped/on it's way.

    3 months is TOO long. Regardless of who it is and where it's coming from.

    I'd get a refund and never order from them again.

    I would contact them again and demand a refund. 3 months is ridiculous even if it is going overseas. I hope you get something, either your order immediately or your money back!

  • Finally, yes i hate them, I placed on order on 02/26 and still haven't got my stuff, I say we all stop using them, what kind of customer service is that. they suck

  • i ordered some samples from them quite a few. Looking at my samples, it seems that they are each labeled by hand/handwritten. so i imagine that it takes a lot of time to fill the baggies and label them. Im sure most of their orders are for sample sizes. so my stuff took over a month to get to me and i live in the US.

    If they said your order shipped and u still dont have it, i guess it got lost. Im so sorry that you still haven't gotten it.

  • Then I did the same thing as you and watched some videos on it and saw that it happened to everyone. I just think that it is soooo ridiculous how long they take and they are seriously going to lose business because people are going to make videos on this and then when others hear what we went through..are not going to bother with it. I don't care how good the product is customer service is bad and getting their product out is sooooooo freaking slow and ridiculous. So I totally agree with you

  • I ordered from them on the 24th of April and after a couple of weeks I was like where the helll is it??? So I emailed them and got no response, a week later I emailed them again and I never got a response. So..I emailed them again and this time I filed a dispute or w/e with PayPal. They finally emailed me back and said they had not recieved any emails from me...so they're liars. And then she said my order would be shipped out soon, but I almost think they say that to have us shut up.

  • You could contact your credit card company, they will canel the payment for you! Its coverage that comes with all credit cards!

    You have every right to be mad!!!!

  • I've heard that it takes forever to get orders from them. Now I know I won't be ordering from them. That really sucks that you still havnt gotten your order:( Your makeup in this video looks really good though:)

  • sometimes if you buy things from abroad they tend to send out the items but if its over a certain amount of money/weight they send it to the nearest post office and then the royal mail tend to charge you for custom charges...that happened to me when i ordered from everyday minerals, maybe you should check with the nearest post office.....if thats not the case then you should email them again and ask for a refund...

  • I'd send an e-mail again and see if they respond. If they don't, try to get a refund. If they do, maybe wait a little more depending on how bad you want the make up. If theres still no sight of the products then I'd definitely ask for a refund. You've been more than patient with them. Its ridiculous to wait that long for makeup!

  • 3 months is completely unacceptable unless they specifically told you, upfront, things were going to be severely delayed on THEIR end.

    Seriously, anything that takes longer than 2 weeks is ridiculous. They have air mail & who knows what other options, which are CHEAP & typically take between 6-10 days.

    Did they send it on the back of a fucking camel or what!? LMAO

    Politely tell them the ship time is unacceptable, it should never take more than 2 weeks, & you want your money refunded ASAP.

  • I have ordered twice from them and both times it took a little less then 4 months. I think i would have taken less time if i drove out there to get it. I know that its only about 3-4 people that work there. They have their in store shop too. With 25 cent samples they get lots of orders. It is the longest I have had to wait for ANYTHING, I'm not all that patient of a person either lol. Hopefully you get them soon!

  • I could have paddled across the atlantic and that would have taken less time than ive waited, it's insane! They shouldn't take so many orders if they dont have the capacity to honour them!! Gonna give them one more chance then ask for a refund.. xx

  • I know. Usually they update the pigment page with dates and what order they are up to but they haven't updated since January. I recommended them to a few people and they ordered around the time you did and haven't received them. I feel bad. I love the pigments i have from them. I think i have 72 or so and they are good prices its just the wait!

  • wow 3months, that is really bad! i would of asked for a refund a long time ago. you must of really wanted to try the samples if you have been waiting 3 months.. it mite of got "lost" in the mail, or maybe you gave them the wrong address.

  • Well I was aware that it took some time for the orders to be shipped, from what i'd heard on here, but 3 months is excessive! And yes, I really did want to try the samples, but think i've waited enough now.. xx

  • I'd give up on them if I were you. 3 months is ridiculous. Tell them you want a refund and if you don't hear from them within X days you are going to refer the matter to Paypal/your credit card company. Good luck - keep us updated! :)
