A kid from my class went down there because he heard they were arresting people... then when the Police told him all he had to do was go back across the street to avoid being arrested he said, "No, I came here to be arrested"! They basically asked for it to validate they're cause and make a dramatic show for youtube! Ireland was forced into the union in 1801 creating the UK AFTER the 1798 rebellion.

I heard a Republican speaker declare that it didn't matter how much money was redistributed down from the rich to the middle and lower paid workers, it would all eventually end up back in the hands of the rich anyway! I am a member of Occupy MN. Minneapolis police have been rather cool so far and the fact we were able to go inside of the Wells Fargo building and protest without incident is a good sign for me. That being said, everyday gets a little scarier. To all my Occupy buddies, my thoughts are always with you. Keep fighting the good fight. Anna should come to Minneapolis by the way. It's pretty rockin. Let me know if you do.

It is only a matter of time. And probably won't be long until one of these incidents in one of the MANY cities across the country gets VERY UGLY. And it will most likely be as a result of cops using more force and violence than the situation merits. One day SOON one of those over-zealous uniformed "angels in blue" will arbitrarily grab someone from the crowd and find that his chosen victim has decided that enough is ENOUGH. And so will a couple hundred folks like him. So ends civil disobedience.
