Wikipedia (yes, I know) says U-65 was lost July 14, 1918 with a crew of 37 off Padstow, Cornwall. It was re-discovered in 2004 and the site is now protected. Open hatches indicate some crew tried to escape the sinking sub. It appeared to be an accidental sinking, not from another war vessel. Also, a Lt. Richter was killed early on by a torpedo and some crew were asphyxiated. Falling girders killed more crew. Believed cursed, the German Navy allegedly called in a priest to bless it. BOO!
they were certain it was haunted and then they all died on it . THEN HOW THE HELL DOES THE REST OF THE WORLD KNOWS IT WAS HAUNTED IF ALL THE MEN DIED ON IT!!!!!!!
Ghosts? Really people? In the age of science, CSI, DNA, space exploration, and so on? We're still holding ourselves back with ghost stories? Really? Really?
Science, CSI, DNA, space exploration, etc will never be able to explain certain things.
Just look up some stuffs about the Flying Dutchman. It was sighted by several people aboard the same ship, including the young Duke of York, the future King George V.
Would you conclude that all of those people were mad or having hallucinations, all at the same time ?
@Briselance I would conclude that they did not see the ghost of a ship. People's senses are often skewed by emotional fancy or romantic fantasy. Just because someone has a title - does not make them impartial observers. No such things as ghosts - and saying science can't explain it is just a childish cop out so one can keep believing the utter nonsense that makes them feel secure for some reason.
You have your opinion, and I respect it. But I'd say, in turn, that believing science is almighty is quite cocky, for lack of a better word. Science ? The simplest way to reduce, mash all the things that make us humans different from walking apes or machines.
Would one in his right mind reduce human feelings to a simple question of chemicals reactions ?
Then one couldn't be human.
How could science explain love, patriotism, treason, etc. ?
@Briselance Who said science was "almighty?" It is full of flaws. How science is superior to any other form of reasoning is scientific minds learn, adapt, change, and strive to understand. Religion, spirituality, faith, or whatever - belief in ghosts is based on nothing but a very simple and primitive functioning pathway in the human brain. That "thinking" has stagnated human progress. Now, let's have no more talk of ghosts and accept that feelings ARE chemical reactions.
I hope that when I die, I will rest in peace.. However, should my ghost return to the world of the living for some reason. I hope it will appear inside the playboy mansion where the playmates change their clothing.. Booo Booo who who YEAHHHHH,,,,
Apparently this submarine was jinxed even before it entered active service. During it's construction, a part of it's structure fell away and crushed a workman, so the story goes anyway
umm if there were NO survivors when the sub blew up later...why do people keep saying the U-boats crew was sighted pointing at the torpedo tubes earlier that day
Then maybe this story has been made up, or the dead Second Officer appeared to one of his former subordinates and pointed the torpedo tubes few days or weeks prior to the accident, and not a mere few hours.

1. what was the sercomstances about the seamans death??sounds like the crew could of bin responsible. Was seen looking up at the men on the tower.pleaged with problems, bad luck,it seems the captin thinking it was a practical joke was the last draw.

"accept that feelings ARE chemical reactions." AND something else.

@Briselance oh yes, feelings are chemical reactions processed by structures in the brain
