Global warming is serving several purposes. First, the global elite want to weaken the US's stranglehold on the global economy. Trust me, the US is not a shining city on a hill in the eyes of the elitists, it is a threat to their domination. Secondly, many corporations are running out of new ideas on what to present to the public. In global warming, they have a new product line and a new way to appeal to the masses. I also wouldn't rule out GW as being an attempt at global depopulation either...
