i am going to get a magic trackpad for my macbook pro and i am also going to get a wired keyboard with the numeric keypad on it but was also thinking about the magic mouse do you think i should just go for the magic trackpad and the keyboard or the keyboard and the mouse???

Do all the gestures work on Windows ? 'Cause I remember reading that not all of them work the same way as on a Mac. It would be a shame if they didn't, 'cause apple will lose some windows customers.

@floflorian No, I think two finger scrolling, clicking and pointing (moving the pointer) are the only things it does on a PC.

@akskater100 the magic trackpad does not currently support windows unless some sort of bootcamp crap on a mac is used. the magic trackpad requires mac os 10.6.4 so yeah.

I'd say it's a lot easier to gestures on a Trackpad than it is on a Magic Mouse. In fact, the Magic Mouse is more likely to give you carpal tunnel syndrome if you like to use/abuse the 2 finger forward/backward swipe controls for web browsing.

i dunno what screen size yet, 13 seems small but 15 only 2 inches bigger

@randomrazr well if you can deal with the extra weight, go 15 if you want more screen space on the go. I have one (mid 2009) and it's great. Doesn't look like you'll be doing heavy stuff, and the 13" can more than handle it. You can get that (it's noticeably yet negligibly lighter) and when you're at your desk, hook it up to an external. That's just my opinion.

@itsstefpapadopoulos if your TV is on a mount and you tend to chill out on the bed, the trackpad would come in use. On the other hand, as you've got a trackpad on your MBP... surely you should go for the magic mouse :D

I have a Wacom bamboo Fun Pen & Touch.

The hand gestures are identical to those on a Mac trackpad and I have the pen capability :)

I got my 27 inch iMac back yesterday and I would like that because i edit Pictures. I have a graphics tablet but it is old and I think the Magic Trackpad is bigger and has a nice angle. Really informative video. Helped me alot. Thanks
