didn't seem like she should be trying to teach anybody how to do the lateral reumbancy, countless things that seemed bad to me. Plus I wouldn't ever want to take my dog to wherever she works if she can't do something that simple on her own dog, aand i can't even find part 3 to see if she did any better.
I have to learn to do a dog that size on a table and I am 5'2... however, I have been taught you always control the head. As for pain? I've been practicing restraint at my school and some dogs whimper or cry not out of pain; some dogs are stubborn and cry when they simply don't like something. I wouldn't jump to conclusions
hey i get that its her dog and all. but she should show as if the dog isnt a "well behaved" patient. it will make it would definitly make it more believable. i dont know many drs or techs that would do that. i dont even expect my own dog to behave that well. and ive used him for teaching purposes by helping my teacher out at school.
Listen y'all, it was a demonstration, not a real thing. The dog is pretty well behaved, which is why he required minimal restraint. Obviously a big dog will be in a corner on the ground, not free standing on a table.. it was a class assignment, not a real thing.
Terrible tips, the dog is too high, had no restraint for the blood draw if the dog decided to back up.....and most vet hospitals don't have the time to ask the dog to sit ad roll over, SERIOUSLY!!
I can see why some vets are switching to examining large dogs on the floor-a narrow table just doesnt cut it. The table is probably better for the small animals.
i dont think a huge dog rolling over on a small table would feel comfortable unless u lift him up cuz if he rolls over he is gonna fall off, they cant flip right away like humans
i understand holding his mussle.. but if anyone except me touches my dogs neck he flips out.... im quite shock she touched his neck without him being mussled.. he is a nice doggy

I like your part 3 but this move was real bad.
Not only do you have a well trained Dog. but you hurt the dog 2 times. I would hate to see you do this to a real bad dog. you will break his legs.
But I do love your part 3 hold. I train only red zone dogs for the last 10 years.
you should redo this video. this video makes you look bad in fact I am surprised you even posted it........lol
redo the hold if you must but make sure the dog is not yelping in pain then post it.......lol good luck.Jeff
