JATO or RATO (Jet Assisted or Rocket Assisted Take Off, whichever you prefer) bottles date back to (I believe) the Vietnam era. Since JATO (or RATO) bottles are no longer being manufactured, they're coming down to the last of the "stash", so to speak.
