@fordtuff1965 Hi, in the video it is recommended. The Jerky J is light. So the preferred reel would be the Spinning. However, you can use a bait caster if you like. I could do it myself as well with a bait caster. But, I am just recommending the spinning because when I use the bait, I use it weightless... so, a spinning reel with braid can get it really far.
