When I was little my mum would sing this every morning to me and my brother and we had no idea what it was. Then, when I was a bit older, she showed me the film and I fell in love with it. I remember crying with laughter at Make Em Laugh and being completely in awe of Gene Kelly's dancing. Now I nearly always sing this song in the mornings, it's like I can't not sing it. Absolute classic, I adore this film and this song in particular holds a special place in my heart.
