Did you ever figure out how to get this battery powered? This is my summer project and I've had not luck figuring out what type of rechargeable battery to use. Any details would be greatly appreciated.
@DJShredThing We got some cheap 12V NiCds and a bunch of crappy constant voltage chargers. It sucks and it hard. I recommend searching ebay for a 12V battery and charger combo.
