Roddick is one of the nicest guys around. He's humble, gracious, honest and just plain cool. I'm glad he got rid of Connors, who was making him swagger and behave badly. Andy's done a lot with what he got. way to go.

@billyg0789 agreed met Andy down in DC @ the Legg Mason he stood outside the press booth in 100 degree heat with an ice pack strapped to his shoulder and signed everything took him about 45 min's . Conversely when coming into contact with RF b4 he was the grand champion he was not a nice guy sort of a get away from me European snooty type attitude. Somehow the idiot press in USA portrays him as something different - what a Suprise !

I´ve come to the conclusion, that andy should not really concentrate on winning itself, but rather more so in his performance,when he plays roger. The night of the 07usopen, he played his best,although he looks really sad in this interview,probably because his effort drained him so much emotionally,mentally spiritually, I respect and like andy a lot, he´s a true and sincere competitor..

That is a valid point. Honestly i mean Fedeer does outplay him, i mean otherwise he would win more. But there are times i feel that Andy played so well that it just doesnt make snese y he didnt. Ive even met some die hard fed fans that sometimes say it was hard to want andy to lose. Sometimes wanting it more doe not translate into actually winning it.

The point i was making was that Andy wanted it more and played arguably the best tennis i have ever seen him play.
