just a combination of stories told without really talking about decision making. a TED Talk could be worth listening to. I wasted my time with two academic bablers.
Decision making is quite interesting and there are some good examples in this video, but again, and that is what I always see in all the books and talks on decision making, it´s always about money, about choosing products, and such.
Life is not all about money.
I´d like to know about decision making for your study, your job, your lovelife. Those things that are not all about the money.
very very bad. it was clearly nothing more than a book ad, but one which convinced me to never buy it. also, kinda sickening how they side-steppped the whole morral issue of provinding as much aids medicin to people as possible, and consentrating purely on profit.. and how dom must the drug making people be if they don't realise if they outsource there product, for 20% of the profit, that means they need to sell in excess of 5 times as much ..
The question that really interested me, was how to get such a book published. After all, its just regurgitating stuff. These self help, or business thinking ideas, are like pass the parcel, hoping one book hits home. I'm waiting for the "thinking wheel", in which we all suffer from, but wait " the thinking axle is here!". Learn how to roll your ideas downhill and not up! A great book in the waiting, for anybody stupid enough to buy it.
Get to the point - already!!!! It appears some of these speakes are more infatuated with the sound of their voice - 10 minutes into the video - than they are in providing the take-aways for its audience. Get to the POINT!
Awesome Post!!

OK, I agree on the common sense part. But take your time and think about how many times in your life the obvious was not that obvious!
