The best 747 you can have is the PMDG 747-400. Nothing comes close to the PMDG. There are a version for FSX and one for FS2004. But its payware.

yes but PMDG only has the newest 747-400 of the 747 series, It has everything hightech in it. If you want a plane that is more challenging you must buy the 747-200/300 series from commerciallevelsimulations. It's an awsome add-on and comes close to the PMDG level. watch the videos of Cessna154 to see a good review of it!

You're quite right, I know little about flight simulators. I do know though that my little boy likes watching planes and we both get very frustrated when we search for plane videos and end up having to wade through pages and pages of this complete waste of time.

4. Not my problem if you get "false" hits on your plane video search. If you really liked planes and aviation, then good simulation videos wouldn't bother you as well.

5. My conclusion: stick with football. It's probably the only thing you'll ever know to right.

Oh and btw, you said do something productive with your live. Well, football is not really a productive activity. It's purely for fun. On the other hand, flight simulations with realistic add-ons and flying by the RL book rules, teaches you a lot and for some of us who are soon to begin real training for the ATPL, it's hell of a lot more productive than to kick a ball for 90 minutes and pretend you'r the best player ever alive.
