@MASEK360 Yes no problem. The Latest BMW technology is available for the earlier cars, but you can not put the idrive stuff in your car check do a google search for BMW Widescreen Navigation display for details.
i have an e38 (1995) and was wondering if i can buy one of these say off of a parted out 2000 e38 and put it in my car that dosnt have satnav its just the regular bmw radio.
@Mieluu1 No no, i saw another video with the widescreen nav and the way to insert cds or dvds is when you press the eject button, the whole front moves out and downwards and there's the slot behind it. You see the eject button in the top right of the nav.
CDs go in the trunk. The widescreen moves down and there is, of all things, a tape slot behind it. Why BMW put a tape there and not a CD is beyond me, but c'est la vie.
