Thanks so much for uploading these episodes! I love being able to see some of my favorite shows by way of Youtube when there is nothing I like on TV, or when I'm not in the mood for one of the movies I have. I haven't seen TFOL in years, so you've made me quite happy. :D
@KomediWest *lol* Kim Fields is just fantastic. Maybe it's just me, but I swear, she's the spitting image of her mother Chip. The eyes, the voice (in some instances), and her smile. :)
@crpsaiyan I actually think that Kim's younger sister, Alexis is more like their mother. Kim was a trip on TFOL, and even more so on Living Single. Her mom was great on that show, too. :D
I wish this show aired where I could see it on TV. It's been ages! TVLand, Nick@Nite or some network needs to air it. I just watched the ep "Take My Finals, Please" on Youtube. It's an all-time favorite! :D
4 me its a toss up between Blair and Jo,Blair at first comes on as a rich little snob, but as her part always plays out,she really has a heart of gold.and Jo makes you think she cares 4 nobody, but as her part plays out,she really does care and is there 4 you.
7:05 Bair: "we'll be happy to buy you a bus ticket", Jo:"that's a doesn't matter fact 'cos i'll stay"...hahaha, Blair can be very convincing in someways with Jo.
I wish comedy shows were still like this, but in a modern version for today. I'm almost 22, and I used to watch these re-runs all the time on TV Land back in 7th and 8th grade. I think it's hilarious how Blair freaks out and Tootie says (at 1:40-1:43) "Blair, we've only been in here for 45 minutes!". HILARIOUS! Vienna Girardi would've been the "Blair" of The Bachelor, just this past season. She was always freaking out about something!
@catshattuck Because people today only care about Hannah Montana crap! I remember watching this when they aired on Nick At Nite. Of course that was before I moved in to the country and TV lost it's nostalgic charm for reality crap and dumb teen shows.
it's great reading the comments and realizing that people who weren't around when the show first aired are discovering it here and getting into it. old tv forever!
Hoo yeah! Back then, 80s television and 90s television had meaning. There were lessons about life that people needed to learn and the networks weren't very squeamish about letting the young kids see what it is they need to see and learn what they need to learn about the world.
@jdog34505 Hey, I was gonna say that...how'd you read my mind??? LOL!!! Seriously, you're right...quality TV like this, sadly, DID get destroyed by an evil force much worse than reality TV...it's known as STUPIDITY, which of course gave birth to reality TV, LOL Humanity doesn't like to actually like to have to THINK anymore, which is why shows like these are no longer on the air...if you want to understand these shows, you actually have to possess a BRAIN.
Every character in this show is hilarious! Natalie is the outright comic quipper... Tootie is the one you wish wouldnt speak sometimes, Blair is the ditzy one and Jo is the best! I only just discovered this show and I love it!
its so ironic who Blair told Jo all she care about is herself. lol

My friend's like Jo. On Thanksgiving holiday, he handled a guy who was 9 inches taller and at least 60 pounds heavier than him.
He grew up in New York City but not the Bronx. He's from a place that's commonly called the Bowery but he called it something else.

Has anyone notice that Jo was wearing different shoes from the bar scene

Even that Jo and Blair had differences it seems like they always had each others back.

I am so glad they reworked the formula of the show w/ the second season because Jo added alot to the show Nancy McKeon was great.

And then. Blair was Jo's prison bitch.
This show is just trying to make me unreasonably happy, now.

Tootie has 2 of the best scenes in the series - her pouring beer on that cop's head and her teasing that inmate.

LOL, at 4:38-4:58
Ms. G: "The judge put all of you on probation for 6 months"
Tootie: "Probation? That's for criminals!"
Ms. G: "Mr. Harrison was furious. You are all expelled"
Nat: "Expelled? My mother's a dead person. She'll never live through the first bypass"
