I love that Chef Jose Garces won. I was stoked when he beat Bobby Flay cuz Flay always somehow, mysteriously wins - except in Throwdown. But Chef Garces was just awesome. Been to Amada and loved it. Thought it was better than Boqueria in NYC. Want to try Tinto - and the FOIE GRAS!
Jose Garces' personality was quite genuine while his competitor was exaggerating on his own personality. I also love the fact that Garces was committed to making his presentation known in his food preparation. His consistency outranked his competitors and his strength proved to be his advantage as he made his way to the finish line.
Please BOYCOTT THIS RESTAURANT! This is one of the only restaurants in the city that continues to serve "foie gras", a cruel dish made by force-feeding ducks until their liver swells to ten times the usual size. Birds often choke to death on their own vomit, have their throats punctured by the feeding tubes, and suffer gaping wounds and untreated infections. BOYCOTT THIS CRUEL RESTAURANT!
place is very good but jose andres place JALEO is the best.
