Between two kinds difference between of HOH and Semi HOH

heye DeafSweetMind - me way behind in watching vlogs. thank u for this one. just fyi Veditz and others say semi-Deaf. i have never seen the term semi-hard of hearing. but i understand all ur points about how the term hard of hearing is closer to the HEARING mindset this is why i prefer semi-Deaf. but alike u and bunjer said - no need for any label in degree - HofH or semi or.... those of us who want may just simply want to say Deafhood - we all share that right! smile again thanks

@pdurr Oh yes of course! Semi Deaf that would be a good term instead of saying Semi Hearing, I m with you all the way. It s actually coming from a person who have a very positive outlook of being deaf. Thanks! :)

I agree with you all the way. No need to argue about it. I mentioned that I do not like the way medical s label on us for their own purpose to split up between Deaf and Deaf. Of course that person would mark on the list that she is deaf. My point is many Deaf people thinks they were born hearing however I dont believe this anymore since semi HOH will eventually be Deaf as is later in their lives.They should learn ASL and embrace Deaf culture if they have their positive view of being deaf.

My opinion, world should be Earth or Eyeth.. No need HOHth.. No good being stuck between Eyeth and Earth.. Should learn ASL and embrace Deaf Culture if have any degree of hearing loss.. Too much confusion and silly to divide into different groups! Bi/Bi is good enough!
