rally driving is totally different from ashpalt driving. granted some rally races do take place on dual courses. ( asphalt and dirt). but there is a reason why your owners manual for your 4wd vehicle says dont go over 45mph. if u go over 45mph with the 4wd engaged you will cause severe damage to the front drivetrain.also ferrari did have a couple cars in rally racing back in the day.even tho they dint call it rally racing.

i think with the japanese accent, feRARRI and RALLY may sound similar, maybe thats why the translation is inaccurate

I agree what ppl have been saying about the translation. It doesn't even make sense any more when you call him a "Ferrari" driver who "isn't interested in passing or being passed." Only rally drivers deal with that "disinterest" because rally driving is based on time trials and they don't race against each other at the same time.

Also, I wouldn't see how driving a Ferrari would be beneficial for driving in the rain. Again, this is something rally drivers deal with.

@omgstoptakingnames Shiro Waru; his reason for racing is money. That's why he and Kuro Waru (are they brothers or cousins maybe??) tried to screw project D over as much as they could. Shiro races downhill in an Evo VI, while Kuro runs the uphill with is Evo V.

FUNimation; your translation is incorrect.; The guy driving the Cappuccino is a rally driver. I know a little japanese, and I don't know if "rally" and "ferrari" sound similar in Japanese and you guys translated it incorrectly, but I certainly hope this is corrected when I purchase the 4th stage.

@nonstophero0079 its not just there its in the 1st stage too i bought the 1st 2nd and 4th and there always seems to be a mess up in translation theres alot of mess ups in the 4th stage in the 1st stage itsuki calls takumi iektani in the fourth stage during the race with the hachiroku and cap were called FD's the guy toru said be bored out his 1600cc V6 in his roadster everyone on here knows a roadster doesnt come with a v6 let along a 1600cc v6 lol

@ILikeToExplore This comment's almost a year old lol, the English version wasn't done yet. Most purists prefer the Japanese dubs with sub titles anyways; most of the time I don't care either way. I just wanted them to straiten this out before they released it, which they did praise God. They did, however, say that Kyoichi Sudo (Kyle if you own Tokyo Pop's dub) drove AUTOCROSS on the 3rd stage disk; Sudo was a gymkhana driver, which is different. I'm a racer, so it bugged me haha :-)
