Ron Paul doesn't want to eliminate Social Security, he wants to save it. He's pretty much the only member of Congress who hasn't voted to dip into the social security fund for other legislation.

He's said he'll take the money spent overseas and use it to save the collapsing social security system.

However, he will give younger people the option to get out of social security if they choose to do so.
