@Elliemayh94 hi! i used gum paste for the numbers. i basically rolled it into a thin sausage and shaped it freehand. I then let it dry completely (about a few days depending how thick you roll it) before I place it on the cake.
I used a thick gauge wire and stuck in under the numbers so I had something to help it stand on the cake. I would wet the wire with some edible glue or water so that it will stick to the number much better.
Thanks for your lovely comment. I bought the pans from Michael's using my 40% off coupon :) I think they were called Paisley. I used cutters for the letter and then painted them with gold luster dust mixed with clear alcohol.
