  • this is such bullshit. if youre both working oh so hard,m hire a maid. no one is forcing the woman to clean, shes doing that of her own free will. so she has nothing to bitch about.

  • @chalkstuff I don't know why you agree with me on something I didn't say!

I have know read the article 'Gender Equality in Academia' and it contains nothing but special interest whining as I suspected. You can see this from the conclusions which are all motivated by promoting women rather than the purposes of academia. Why should we sacrifice our economy and research to obtain your version of 'equality': equality of outcome?

  • Problem is Men are giving these cunts the time of day.

  • Who is most likely to get drafted to war? who does most of the fixing? most of the gift giving? most of the lifting? most of the bill paying? most of the protecting? most of the work in bed? most of the JOB HOURS? who bought the ring? payed for the wedding? witch is more likely to take up a dangerous job to support a non working spouse? witch is most likely to loose the children in a divorce for working such long hours? who marries up?..... laundry??! oh please.

  • Man i definetly feel sorry for the British male. I thought our feminsim in this country is bad, but geez.

  • why do we focus on women being sexualized and fulfilling their biological responsibility to raise children; when men are brought up to be tough, and to solve their problems with violence, which is more harmful.

  • Feminists are a bunch of whiney twats who are afraid to accept their responsabilities as women

  • this Mangina is just a pussy begger, probably one of those men that push baby carriers and do the home cleaning while the pussy is at work,i am an African and a real african i would remain. some pussy africans guys in europe do switch roles though!

  • And what have men suffered from so much? Going to wars that they themselves started? Obeying the rules that other men created?! Is it men that are being stoned to the death in the middle-east in the 21st century?! You are truly a bitch. If some girl dumped you, don't take it out on people on YouTube that are trying to have a rational discussion.

  • @annybg

How many women get drafted into wars and get burnt or blasted to death? Women joining the army is entirely voluntary. And then they don't fight on the front line. The real dangerous stuff is done by men. How many women were tortured in Guantanamo Bay? How many fought in Vietnam or World War I or II? Women have been CODDLED throughout history -- even when they are slaving over a hot stove -- poor dears -- while their husbands are working down a coal mine.

  • @lewtube

You have to be kidding me! Men are the creators of the army, so why continue doing something that you know will get you hurt? The army never should have been created to start. Also, spare the bull about men working down the coal mine because most of that shit is done with big tonkas. What happen currently to those cole miners was a freak accident .

  • @GetAClueNow

Women are the people who BENEFIT from wars. Men are the people who FIGHT them. And get killed or maimed because of them. Men fight wars to protect their women and children. Or on the other side, they do it to gain resources for them.

Coal mining is a dirty, backbreaking, claustrophobic job regardless of whether you are trapped down there or not.

  • @lewtube

Spare the bull! Women fight in armies now. Women don't benefit from the army; they're husbands are sent away for long times, trumatized and possibly killed and the wife and children suffer from that. Men (and women) don't just fight to protect women/children, they fight for the Country, men, women and children. Men should be the ones fighting in wars. After all, they created it. Why can't we talk rationally about resources? Wars have never solved problems and never will.

  • @GetAClueNow

Women DON'T fight in armies! First of all, women are never drafted. Men are. Women who have volunteered don't have to fight. Men do. Nearly all people killed in a war are men. The few women that get killed are not the result of fighting but stray bombs (that kill even more guys).

  • @lewtube

So that make them even more respectful. Cause the volunteered to risk their life for the men and women of their Country.

  • @lewtube

Like I said, coal miners rarely break their backs doing anything. It is done with big tonkas. You want to know the hardest job to do? Farming that most men don't even want to do. The only men who pretty much will do these jobs are Mexican men, that's why so many of them work on the farms. Yes, the pay is low but so is it for coal miners that get paid little to nothing. Factory workers also rarely do anything. They have machines doing all the work.

  • @GetAClueNow

Sure. Work like this is easier now than 50 years ago. But it's STILL easier staying home to look after kids. Wives only work a few hours. They can watch TV while they iron. They can invite friends round for coffee. The few wives who go to work do it because they WANT to work. Their husbands work because they HAVE to. A woman knows she can quit any time. And she often chooses the hours to work. Empowering, eh?

  • @lewtube

Depeniding on what kind of job you have will determine what is easier. Kids can be a pain. But that's not even a good excuse cause most women are not stay at home moms anymore. Lots of women prefer to make their own money even though you still have those who make their own money and want the man to make a lot of money to. I don't know what world your living in but it is not a few wives working a lot of wives work. This is not back in the days.

  • @lewtube Thanks for sharing your ideas - bare in mind that it is far more difficult for a women to take up a trade or rise to a senior position in a firm or, say, a university professorship (reflected in the statistics) and they get paid much less than men on average regardless of their performance. Could I please suggest an article for you to read? For a start check out 'Gender Equality in Academia', I think it's always better to have the facts when discussing.

  • @chalkstuff You contradict yourself. You talk about having the facts and then say that women get paid less and are discriminated against in employment. This is false. If it were true men would be unemployable as they would be unnecessarily expensive. In fact women are paid more than men due to government interference.

The point lewtube makes is that women don't choose dangerous/unpleasant jobs. This is not just lewtube's 'ideas'. This is a FACT.

  • @djw11111 Did you read the article? And yes, I agree with you that the current model is extremely inefficient because poorer candidates are being selected and overpaid simply because they are male. Please do read research articles, let me suggest: "Evidence on Discrimination in Employment: Codes of Color, Codes of Gender". I would be interested in your comment on the content that article.

  • The main stream with low IQ's lap this sort of crap up! Wonder who paid for the house they both live in, does the maintenance, any heavy lifting, provides the real security when things go bad yes a Male. Wake up women you can't try be equal with men as we can't have children or produce milk. Do we try to force cows to be equals to bulls no we don't... Equality is the biggest con in history!

  • @spaceman3210

Are you seriously comparing giving birth and producing milk to this situation?

  • Women generally don't like mowing the lawn, thus they prefer doing the laundry instead. (for instance). Hardly rocket science, neither is there something wrong with it. All these blabbering feminist cry-babies always has to paint such a doomsday picture out of tiny everyday life situations where men and women prefer different stuff.

  • Women have the choice to stop working ONLY IF there is someone else willing to financially support them. This and other forms of inequality need to end. In my household, EVERYONE who can contribute an income does so. There are not roles based on gender. There are no children but if there were the women are not necessarily the people to stay home with them and work less (or not at all). People also don't realize, whoever makes the money has the most power, at least legal power.

  • I'm concerned when reading a few of these comments. There is still a gap between woman and men in terms of equality. For example, we happen to fall behind Egypt and even Malawi in the World's Pay Equality League. As for people saying it's mainly woman that are high up.. well look about. Woman still face the 'glass ceiling' .

In UK full-time female workers in the city earn 47% less than men. OUCH

  • @roisinaturservice That's because men are women are not equal

    we are different

We are suited biologically to do certain things better than the other sex.

    those are facts.

  • @roisinaturservice that's not to say one sex is lesser than the other

    cause that's not the case.

    equal = sameness

and we are not the same.

  • @roisinaturservice

Women DON'T earn less for doing the same work. The earn less on AVERAGE. And that's because they choose easier jobs. Easy jobs pay less.

  • Western women nowadays: "We want equality for the sexes, but of course it's us who're running the show and making all the decisions."

They all seem to have a superiority complex and it's an instant turn-off.

  • @Snyder29 Amen

  • To lewtube... the majority of men are not miners and firemen and brain surgens, they sit behind desks doing clerical work or work in retail or drive a forklift truck or the million other jobs that involve no personal physical risk specific to that job. I would say pretty much every working woman in the world bar those wealthy enough to employ a cleaner/nanny (almost bound to be a woman also) have to hold down a job AND do the lion's share of the domestic work.

  • this video is sexist against men. It shows men like people who are lazy and shit. Without realizing that men do all the hardest work such as: doing construction, going to war and others. Fucking hate feminists.

  • @GoldeWC Majority of men don't do this. Majority of men work simmilar jobs such as females, sitting behind a office desk. Many women these days are in war and the military. Many women would love to do construction but aren't allowed because men tell them to go away when they apply for those jobs. Besides, if you think working construction is harder then taking care of a bunch of little kids the whole day, you'd be in for a suprise.

  • Images of men aren't necessarily bad though. What I'm saying is you can't step outside of a gender role-female action heroes in films may excel in a mans domain but their mission is female (e.g:fighting for her kids) and when men do 'womens' work' like cooking we assume the dish is a speciality.

So the gender ideology isn't unfair on men, many people think it's unfair on women but the press isn't feminist driven. The press pitch stories which act on a primitive level like sex and violence.

  • It's good that you're defending mens rights and I understand that the world is more sympathetic towards women's rights, however, on an individual level people aware that men can also be victims of abuse.

The gender ideology is that women have a certain image and men have a certain image and on a worldwide level, we act on those universal diferences & treat them accordingly.

  • @azurelikeit1

Ah yes, men have a certain "image"! It is exactly this image that I am concerned about. And it is due ENTIRELY to the constant denigration of men in the feminist-driven media and Britain's nutty press that thrives on stirring up fear and hysteria.

But I can assure you this image is NOT on a worldwide level. In most countries men are REVERED for being men.

  • Women's magazines:

    How to look

    How to cook

    How to fuck.

    Men's magazines:

How to get women who know how to-

    Look

    Cook

    Fuck

Even the media is biased. I say we're all better than that, males and females alike.

  • @SuperGrinningIdiot Actualy mens magazines also discuss politics, technology, economics and business. Knowing how to look, cook etc is really not that much to ask I dont think.

  • Seems to me, like most things, an issue of honesty. Most people are probably most tempted to be dishonest for sex. Habit of a lifetime.

  • Idiotic logic. Could we have a programme please on how many wives share the burden of working down a mine, or up dangerous scaffolding, or down a sewer, or hanging off a pole a few hundred feet in the air repairing a high tension cable that could fry her to a flaming crisp?

Not many I bet. Ah, but maybe that's why there's never a programme on it.

  • @lewtube Amen.

the genders are suited for different tasks.

To say that men put down women because women do the laundry is retarded.

  • @HandyMan101 wow wha are you trying to say? women are suited to do laundry. you know it is what you are saying is what is absolutely RETARDED! stop making a fool of yourself...and a damn sexist

  • @lewtube Because whenever women apply to those jobs, men tell them to go away and that they can't do it because they aren't male or laugh at their face. Even if they were completely capable.

  • @lewtube your logic is idiotic. People choose their professions, no one is forcing them. If they don't want to do any of the mentioned above, they simply should choose another job. Male or female.

  • @annybg

Men's and women's brains are structured and configured differenty. Men and women are physically different from top to bottom, interally and externally. They are chemically and bioligically different. So why the big surprises that men have made all the big discoveries throughout millenea of history and that men have broken their backs and corroded the insides of their lungs doing the worst jobs? It's not a matter of choosing another job. It's choosing one you can do.

  • @lewtube we are the different genders of the same species, we are not SO different, dumbass. There are a lot of women inventors and scientists, like Marie Curie. In medieval times, during the dark ages any woman that tried to invent/create, etc. was considered a witch and burned. Women were oppressed for centuries. That’s why their potential was revealed much later. You are just being hypocritical. Women do all the jobs men do, so stop bitching and complaining.

  • Marie Curie was not inventive! Her husband Pierre came up with the idea of the radioactive element radium. Then he died. She just continued his work. Either way, it was not a patch on explaining gravity with curved space times, as Einstein did. Women's work in science is DWARFED by men's, both in magnitude and in number.

And if you think women throughout history have suffered more than men, you're living on the wrong planet.

  • @lewtube yeah, right. They were working together and many argue that her husband was the one that actually made the discovery. And I explained why women's potential was revealed much later. Gravity was "explained" by Newton btw, not Einstein. If you were trying to point out the theory of relativity, that's something different. And if Newton was a woman he would've been burnt like everyone else.

  • @annybg

Newton only put put forward the inverse-square law. Einstein's General Theory of Relativity explains gravity with geometry. (His earlier special theory was on the invariance of the speed of light.)

Newton could NEVER have been a woman. Women do NOT have the brain structure for this level of creativity. Yes, we're the same species, but so what? We're the opposite sex.

  • @lewtube yeah, after you had some time to browse the web and correct your previous ridiculous comments, you think I'm impressed? Some woman probably dumped your sorry ass and now you are taking it out on everyone from the opposite gender or you maybe you just have penis size issues... Pathetic.

  • @lewtube

So why complain about it then?

  • @lewtube

And lets be real; most men work in offices or do work that women themselves can do. I['m sick of men trying to take credit for what other men do.

  • @lewtube maybe if women were accepted in those lines of work they would do it. But no, because often in scaffolding, plumbling and other lines of work women are completely alienated and taught that 'it's a man's job' or only men are capable of that work, and often that is the belief that the men in those lines of work hold. Consider that.

  • @lewtube Are you dense? That work is paid work - HIGHLY paid work when involved with a union. Work in the home is not paid. That is the point - women are being integrated in the work place, but men are not being integrated into the home.

  • @lewtube

Yeah...yeah...'cause there's SOOOO many people in the world doing that, compared to the 53% of the world's population doing unpaid labour EVERYDAY. Or what about mothers (who make up 90% of women) who are sleep deprived? You know, the method used as a torture device in war? It is a fact that the economy would collapse if women would not be around. I'm so tired of men claiming that women are not oppressed. It's systemic. It's everywhere. Be part of the solution instead of the problem!

  • @passionalist

    so men arent also oppressed?

  • this is the kind of new age dupe who is by and by frogmarched into the Family Court where she encourages the divestment of his assets for her benefits the kids are hers of course her hostages to his fate - she will have her child maintenance

40 yers of feminit braiwashing has produced this kind of "man"

  • I'm a straight feminist. Even though we're biologically predisposed to adopt certain gender roles in partnerships I think most women want to work but biology seems to create a set-up which best serves the offspring.

  • @azurelikeit1 Oh bloody offspring! People want cake and eat it. If you take what the most money is spent on (i.e. what people most want, in the short term at least) how do things stack up. Most, probably all, women I know have more, I'd say considerably more, of these things than I (a man) and probably most of my male friends also. One such women I bumped into recently was pregnant, she refered to it as her 'distraction'. Most of us are more spoilt than grateful.

  • @azurelikeit1

Women that want to work have the option to stop any time. Their husbands have no such option. Few women are willing to marry a man who says he wants to stop after a few years to look after the children while she works till retirement. This is what the feminist-run BBC deliberately leaves out.

We need a Men's Hour to balance out Women's Hour. We need programmes on gender taken from a male perspective that are sympathic to men. I am appalled by constant negative portrayal of men.

  • I would consider myself a feminist, as well as a progressive masculinst. I strongly believe in gender equality; however, I find this strategy of making the male look stupid or uniformed, very offensive. He knows he does not do enough to make her feel equal. Visit that, apposed to beating around niceties.

  • @Velcera

'I would consider myself a feminist, as well as a progressive masculinst.'

that is the dumbest thing ive ever heard. its like saying your male and female at the same time
