Also I would like to ad that it is actually cheaper to buy an iphone 4 at $600 from apple and use on t-mobile or simple mobile (same thing just cheaper-$60 per month no tax all unlimited , look it up). If your not good at math then just ignore this post, but if you have at&t then you probably are. The real best deals on the iphone 3gs 8gb in particular is to buy used and activate with t-mobile or simple mobile or buy direct from apple iphone 4 is $600 no contract, at least where I live anyway.
continued... anyway my point is that at&t's unlimited package exceeds t-mobile's unlimited package by $50+ per month. The best way to go is with t-mobile-better (reasonable) rates, better customer service, not to mention the jailbreak so no wasting money on apps, and the only downside is that I can only use edge instead of 3g because I have an american iphone (wish I had a euro iphone). but hey thats just me
Why are people stupid enough to buy and activate an iphone through at&t? I have the 3gs 8gb and I cannot complain at all whille using it on t-mobile. I am actually using its standard internet tehering that at&t will charge you for extra data use whereas t-mobile doesn't support on >t-mobile< phones.
