air brakes on a train work very diffrently from regular brakes. when you apply air pressure, the brakes relese, when the pressure goes down, the brakes apply. this basicly makes this hole moive impossible
A real train would have jumped the track after the first curve. It would never make it to Denver unless it was coming right out of Boulder and into the city limits.
They seriously should've notified the crew on the chase locomotive about their attempt to stop the runaway by setting off the brakes manually. Are all the people in this movie stupid or something?!
What I like about this movie is that it shows what happens when people panic. It also show why you shouldn't play hero and do things without having the correct knowledge and/or refusing to listen to orders/advice of those who know their shit.

in germany.breaks are closing when the air pressure is gone. so that means a train without air pressure cant drive
