whiny, ungrateful, condenscending coked-up prick......i would've punched him out.......i'm sorry but i find him off putting in many many ways.............honest must be proven in action -- this whole tact of being 'mysterious' and confrontational to keep people interested in you has been used by many people i have had the unfortunate privilege to have known.....and they can fuck themselves too.
I totally understand this response to him ... but just keep in mind that his whole "mysterious and confrontational act" was largely a response to journalists in the sixties who knew nothing about music asking really dumb questions. He also got tagged with "prophet" and "voice of a generation". He didn't actually ask for this. How would you respond to that kind of attention?
@DuchessWow favorably, respectfully, cleverly and genuinely.......i feel the same way about dylan as i do zappa: i can't stand him or most his fans, but i respect a fair portion of his earlier work..that said, i recently got rid of 'highway 61' and 'blonde on blonde' because i wasn't listening to them -- to appolonean for my tastes.....or maybe not fun enough or a little bit of both.....much prefer fred neil or tim buckley or nick drake and omg [do] check out jake thackray
Fuck man, how can you call dylan full of shit? Thats exactly what he was talking about, we see all famous people as the same person. Sadly we see ourselves as either equivlant or better than everyone else and refuse that someone, like dylan, can do something great and handle it better than we would. I'd take some fucking coke if nights of feeling alone and safe were as hard to come by as good women and the truth.
Wired off his gourd! That 1 minute escape before this interview was to snort so he could deal with the BBC journalists....Dylan is cool, but he is as full of shit as any pop demi-god
sony..should wath theiir step..........other people under their label see this they can kick sonys ass to the curb

This is the most importatnt and interesting section of the interview.
Bob Dylan has been saying what he is saying here for many years.
Nothing has changed.
