@RealityofThings My favorite quote from Jung is on p.42 of Man and his Symbols: " I have come to realize that I do not understand anyone enough to be able to interperet his dreams." Yep. You finally said something cogent., Mr. Jung. You do not have the ability to interpret dreams. Prostitution is the oldest profession in the world. Dream interpretation is the oldest hoax in the world. Jung was a wizard. Yah. The Wizard of Oz.. Lance has been fooled.

Dierdre Bair's book is monsterously over-written. It's far too academic and trivia-heavy (Jung's financial sitation is continually presented in detail). She doesn't employ hermeneutics or get to the center of the Jung mandala. Worth a flick and a snoop, though. Colin Wilson's, "The Lord of the Underworld" is good, though far too concise.
