bullshit, it wasnt that big of a deal, he was an awesome man and all, but the only people who really mourned was people who go the Owens Palace every friday with no lives
yeah for some reason "streets of bakersfield" is the only song dwight sings with no meaning or emotion. so to remember buck i love watching the video of them two singing this song nothing else
So was that the SAME NIGHT Buck died?? Awesome that he did this for ole Buck, Owens sung some of the best songs Ive ever heard... " There Gonna Put Me In The Movies"
The Bakersfield sound torch has now passed from Buck to Dwight. Long live Buck. Rock on, Dwight.

Buck is the one who set Diwght on the map. I have the cassette where they are both on stage and Buck explain how they met !

I attended Buck's funeral at the Crystal Palace, and believe me...there wasn't a dry eye in the house when Dwight got up and paid tribute to Buck.
Thank You Dwight...you meant the world to Buck!

singing it with "no" emotion was probably the only way he could get through the song without breakin into tears. Him and Buck were really close....

This was at the Hard Rock in Orlando. He began the show with his tribute to Buck. I was there. It was a very special moment.
