@Iphone2001 got lens @ best buy. about $40. im using modeling clay (the kind that never dries out) now to just stick the lens on. might post another vid for that. it's easier and quicker.
@skl17 1) screw one of the conversion rings onto the lens
2) roll out a length of modeling clay (the stuff that doesnt dry out or get hard)
3) wrap that around the back of the ring
4) press it onto the flip
easy. the roll of clay has to be thick enough so that the lens doesnt bottom out before it's stuck well to the flip. thats about it.
the main drawback is that it doesnt hold super well. great for stationary tri/monopod or handheld walking around stuff but not for heavy-duty jarring stuff
try cutting out a piece (or two if you need to go around the mics like i did) just like i show with the velcro on the ring. then you'd just stick that directly to the flip. might have to experiment a bit w tape thickness and glue strength but seems plausible to me.
only drawback i see is that the ring would be pseudo-permanently attached to the flip (unless you want to redo the tape every time you use the lens.)
thats a nice idea

what case did you use for the flip mino velcro thing at the end?

is there any way to tape it on?
volcomskater3838 2 years ago
i think double-sided foam tape could work.

let me know how it goes.
good luck.
